The original CSI has now ended while CSI: NY and CSI: Miami were both cancelled years ago. Now, just one CSI program in the franchise remains. Will CSI: Cyber run for many years like it’s predecessors or, will it be cancelled instead? Will it see a third season? Stay tuned.
CSI: Cyber revolves around the work of the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI. It’s a unit at the forefront of solving illegal activities that start in the mind, live online, and play out in the real world. This crime drama stars Patricia Arquette, James Van Der Beek, Hayley Kiyoko, Charley Koontz, Shad Moss, and Ted Danson.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
3/14 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated charts, please try reloading the page. You can also see them here.
For comparisons: The first season of CSI: Cyber averaged a 1.39 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 8.11 million total viewers.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you still like the CSI: Cyber TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a third season?
My husband and I have really enjoyed the series, both Season 1 and 2. I feel it has not been given much of a chance this year with the time slot it was given on Sunday nights. I was very frustrated that it was just arbitrarily not show some nights because the Sunday football game went over. We tried recording it and many times it wasn’t on at its regular time slot so we missed out. The cast is very solid with great acting and the background stories for each of the characters leave a great deal of room to… Read more »
I think this is a great show
Please do not cancel CSI cyber. It is a great show
Please don’t cancel it…it’s one of my favourite shows.
I hope CSI Cyber is renewed for another season. The stories are compelling, the cast is terrific, and I actually learn something from each episode. It’s smart, well-acted, and interesting.
I love CSI:Cyber! Of all the CSI shows, it’s the most relevant to the world we live in today. Not just that, but the characters created for the show, I have really come to love.
PLEASE RENEW THIS SHOW!
Please please don’t cancel. It is wonderful and It shows people how really vulnerable our electronics and computers make us.
I enjoy the series csi cyber and feel its very relevant in todays society. Ratings tend to go up basedon ads and teasers of upcoming episodes so it would be possible to improve the ratings, however the show needs no further improvement unless you want to get more celebrity guest stars. I just watched episode 18 of the second season and the end made it sound like a permanent finale. Cn you let me know if that is true
Renew please i have loved all the CSI programs but CSI Cyber is great and it really provides so much information on how to protect your identity and prevent hacking. Please bring it back
PLEASE renew. Love the show.
The show might have better ratings in a more reliable time slot. I lost count on how many episodes were started late because of a sporting event that ran past it’s allotted time limit.
Please renew CSI:Cyber but move it to Monday night.
Please dont cancel CSI Cyber its one of the few shows my husband and i watch. Great storylines and awesome cast!!
Renew please
Great show! Please don’t cancel – don’t want another stupid reality show!
Great show Renew but glad you got rid of Danson
