Another TV series in the CSI franchise, this crime drama is inspired by the advanced technological work of real-life Cyber Psychologist Mary Aiken.
Special Agent Avery Ryan (Patricia Arquette) heads the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI at Quantico, Virginia. It’s a unit at the forefront of solving illegal activities that start in the mind, live online, and play out in the real world. She knows firsthand how today’s technology allows people to hide in the shadows of the Internet and commit serious crimes of global proportion.
Avery’s second-in-command is Senior Field Agent Elijah Mundo (James Van Der Beek), a self-proclaimed action junkie who is an expert in battlefield forensics. He’s not afraid to put himself at risk in the pursuit of justice.
Special Agent Daniel Krumitz (Charley Koontz) is an introverted technology genius who has a quick wit and isn’t afraid to be brutally honest.
Special Agent Brody Nelson (Shad “Bow Wow” Moss) is an former hacking savant who chose to work for the FBI over a life of cyber-crime.
FBI Analyst Raven Ramirez (Hayley Kiyoko) is a rookie who’ s an expert in social media, cyber trends, and international relations.
Avery’s supervisor is Assistant Director Stavros Sifter (Peter MacNicol), a shrewd FBI career insider and the clearing house between FBI Cyber and all other branches of government.

Also, Avery and her ex-husband have a heart-to-heart and D. B. considers a future with Greer.

What do you think? Do you like the CSI: Cyber TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a third season?
CBS is the problem-MOVE CSI: CYBER TO A DECENT TIME SLOT! You so-called Execs don’t have a clue what people want; Instead you put some of the most horrible crap, that “YOU THINK THE PUBLIC WANTS TO SEE”
CBS EXECS YOU ARE TOTALLY CLUELESS!
Angie, who are you responding to when you call them “Arrogant”
Love this show and please keep it on!
Any fan of the show has learned to set their DVR during football season to go off later than the normal time. Games usually run past the allotted time but have to be televised to the end. I know I would be very upset if my game got cut off before it was over just so CSIcyber could start on time.
I like the show, but CBS keeps changing the time it comes on due to football. I’m afraid the show is doomed.
This is probably the freshest look at the new way to commit we have seen yet. As it simultaneously the action we expect from a CSI program, it also informs of the new dangers technology pose to our everyday lives. Certainly many I never would have dreamed of. Yes, some of it may a bit of a reach, but the realism, and the heart of the show make it believable. For a rookie show, it certainly has given us what we have come to expect from the franchise, while giving it a fresh new spin It would be a crime… Read more »
Please don’t cancel. This is a show that both the young and old can related to.
Please do not take my favorite show off the air. What is here not to like? Love the peope interesting mystery cybertech and I love it.
Please, please don’t take I off!!!!!!!!!
Csi cyber is a great show but the back ground music is over powering, hard to hear the show. If the music continues we will stop watching the show. It ends up annoying.
I really enjoy watching CSI:Cyber. I liked Patricia Arquette in “Medium” and I also like her as Avery Ryan. Is what they say do-able? I don’t know. But what’s wrong with watching a show just for entertainment value? Lighten up guys and just enjoy the show!
the show needs to be renewed. ted makes it even better.
To me the program stinks, bring back the 3 CSI Series at least they had good stories and great actors. This one as you Americans say is the pits!hope no offence has been given?
Too bad you cannot enjoy a show that has a certain amount of sophistication built into it. This is one of the few shows I really enjoy since it makes you think and is not just mindless like so many shows on the air right now. Your loss.
What you call “sophistication” is mostly hogwash. I have been a software engineer for 32 years and presently work for one of the top cybersecurity firms in Silicon Valley. Most of what they are presenting is utter fantasy for the gullible who don’t understand the subject.
So what’s wrong with just enjoying the show? The Walking Dead isn’t real but people watch it for entertainment value too.
Angie
You are right! I agree. Patricia Arquette has got to be the worst actress. The production company must have been desperate to cast her.
Not my loss! There are plenty of other good shows to watch on tv so I certainly don’t miss this one. CBS dropped the ball on this one. Awful show!
Patricia Arquette received an Oscar Award-YOU DON’T GET ONE OF THOSE BY BEING “THE WORST ACTRESS”!
YEAH, WATCH SOMETHING ELSE! LET THOSE OF US WITH TASTE WATCH A GREAT SHOW!!!
Well, I am sorry but I don’t think it is good show at all. If you listen to PA you will hear her acting actually stinks. She is the wrong choice for that part. It is what out me off if the show right from the start. Yes, you are right there are plenty of good quality shows to watch on other channels so I choose to watch them instead.
I missed last week because it was prempted by football so my DVR did not get the whole episode. I will not pay to watch free tv shows. The app makes you pay for previous episodes. VERY UNHAPPY.
Love the show….time frame is hard…too late. Never can watch the show during the actual time on Sunday night. Use CBS.com or Hulu to watch…but look forward to the show each week.
Will not watch because do not like Arquette. Ted Danson will save the show but Arquette needs to go.
