TV show description:
Trevor Pierce (Bobby Cannavale) is a larger than life character who claims that he is actually Cupid, the Roman god of love. He insists that he’s been sent to the Big Apple to bring 100 couples together and that Zeus won’t let him return to Mt. Olympus until he does. Not surprisingly, this lands him in a mental institution.
Three months later, Trevor is found to be harmless to himself and others and he’s released — but under certain conditions. He’s placed under the care of Doctor Claire McCrae (Sarah Paulson), psychiatrist and self-help author. Trevor is required to attend her singles group therapy sessions on a regular basis so that she can monitor his progress.
Trevor returns to his rented room upstairs from Tres Equis Cantina, a struggling watering hole owned by Felix Arroyo (Rick Gomez) and his sister, Lita (Camille Guaty). In exchange for rent, Trevor becomes their bartender and creates an atmosphere for singles looking for lasting love. His ideas, such as half-price margarita nights and mariachi karaoke duets, could help him bring couples together and ultimately move him closer to the day when he can return to Mt. Olympus.
Though no one actually believes Trevor’s Cupid story, they find him charming nonetheless. Claire finds that he constantly interferes and contradicts her when it comes to her pragmatic style of helping people find love. While Claire believes it’s all about friendship and mutual respect, Trevor knows that heat and passion conquer all. Who will win this battle for love? Only time will tell.

Cupid would have received higher ratings if it was aired the same time Desperate Housewives was on in 2009.So now that Desperate Housewives is off Cupid should return in its place on Sunday.

definitely don’t cancel this!!!!
I personally loved this show, and i dont understand why it was cancelled.. It was funny and kind, and i know a dozen people that was looking forward to another season or another ten. If any show should go back on air it should be cupid, not only because i loved the show personally, but because it wasn’t even given an opportunity to really be loved.
-Adored Cupid
I enjoyed Cupid. If you are going to cancel it, you should at least have him meet his “quota” and go back to the heavens with the other “gods.” Good shows are hard to find and I always end up watching a specific channel 90% of the time and it isn’t ABC.
ABC Cancelling another good show…..you never give any show a chance anymore.
This was a cute light hearted drama which was refreshing. People have enough
bad things to think about these days and it is nice to escape into a fun and delightful show. What is wrong with the ABC Program director…….who is making more bad choices. I like other viewers feel anymore why watch at all………that is ABC……..because you cancel the good shows and keep the C_ _ P on for yrs.
Don’t cancel it.. I’ve just watch it!!! It was just aired on Malaysia and now its gonna finish? Bring it back please!
