This will be the first full season of Dallas without Larry Hagman’s JR Ewing. Can the cast and producers continue to draw viewers and solid ratings without their quintessential bad guy? Will the new Dallas be cancelled or renewed for a fourth season? Stay tuned to find out.
Airing on Monday nights, Dallas continues to follow the machinations of the dysfunctional and powerful Ewing clan. The cast includes Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, Brenda Strong, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Mitch Pileggi, Emma Bell, Kuno Becker, and Juan Pablo Di Pace.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
Final season averages: 0.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.92 million total viewers.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Reference point: The second season of the new Dallas averaged a 0.8 demo rating and 2.67 million viewers.
Cable ratings are typically released within a day or so of the show’s airing, except for in the case of weekends and holidays. They are sometimes harder to come by so there may be occasional delays or gaps.
What do you think? Do you still like the Dallas series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a fourth season?
Update: TNT has cancelled Dallas after three seasons. Details here.
TNT how dare you cancel Dallas, the best show you have. Dallas is a TELEVISION LEGEND & TV ICON forever! Bring back DALLAS! #SaveDallas TNT, you remind me of Decca Records who were so blind to have missed that THE BEATLES were an entity that millions would adore for ever! We Beatles fans knew this, the very 1st time we saw them on Ed Sullivan’s show. Now 50+ years later, THE BEATLES are sill loved by the masses & ever so popular!! And just where may I ask, is Decca Records?? Basking in utter shame & embarrassment that will last… Read more »

Got to be kidding. The BEST show on TV. The actors and storyline were excellent. Gezz how many more people have to be out of a job….. This is soooo discouraging….. Hope another network picks this up!!!!…. TNT SHAME ON YOU !!!!
Please do NOT cancel this show!!! We just love it and so engrossed in this show since the 1980s!!! We even went to Southfork to see the family tree and just to be able to touch parts of the house and see it in person!! TNT will be making one of their biggest mistakes! Lots of loyal watchers will be hurt by that decision!! 2DS Az
Please do not cancel Dallas. I have loved the show since the original series began, and I still love it. I look forward to seeing it every year. It is one of the best series I have ever seen.

dont get rid of one of the best tv shows. its an icon itself!!!!
Åre you guys insane!! Dallas is at is best right now don’t cancel it, the show still has a lot of potential.
I think we all should protest and not watch TNT, until Dallas is brought back.
I love Dallas. I always have…..Bring it back…
Stupid decision by TNT to drop Dallas TNT!! Someone, somewhere will pick this show up. We fans are furious & foaming at the mouth. How dare you executives do this! Dallas & Dallas TNT are ICONS!! The wonderful, blessed Network, Producer or Executive that picks up this show, will make an ass out of (TNT). In reality the show was too good for TNT!!!
Please do not cancel Dallas! Love the show!
Dallas is an iconic show and certainly light years better than yes to the dress or honey boo boo. Give me a break. What the matter with network execs are they all brain dead? Ratings are not a good indication of quality programming.
Please don’t cancel Dallas. I love it! I watched it when I was a child and I have not missed an episode since its return! I look forward to it every year.
No they should not cancel dallas. It was as good if not better then the original series.
I think the third season should have not been split in two segments.
It seems that TNT has turned a blind eye to viewers. First they move the show to Monday, which is the wost night to move any show to. There is so much competition with “The day Voice”; Monday Night Football and Base Ball; WWE . The list goes on and on. Then they split the season, which was also a bone headed thing to do. Lets only hope that another network picks up the series.
Let’s all pray another network picks up the show.
I love Dallas….
Noooo Please Dont cancel Dallas. Its a Great Show come on Another network has to pick it up. The reason the ratings were low was because of the day and time and the Shows on the other networks at the same time. I always recorded it so I could see it. PLEASE BRING IT BACK
you have got to be kidding. If it was just cause of ratings, it never had a shot against Dancing with the Stars and Monday night football. this show is excellent and Cidre already wrote Season 4, why kind of morons would cancel a wonderful show that 3/4 of the country probably hasn’t even had a chance to see? TNT should be punished, for there are some heavy hitters in this cast, who must have a lot of clout with many stations, that people actually watch!!!! TNT had it made, but the show was on the wrong day. Law and… Read more »
I think it should be given at least two more seasons. A lot of people did not even know this season of the series had started again. We (as a viewer) watch for it, and when it does come on, we (one of the many viewers) do make time to watch it. Matter of fact it is the only show I make time to watch on Monday.
Please bring back Dallas………….NOW!!!!!!!!!
