It’s the end of the line for the Dallas TV show — for the second time. TNT has announced that they’ve cancelled the new Dallas TV show after three seasons.
A continuation of the successful CBS series from the 1970s, 80s and 90s, Dallas follows the machinations of two generations of the dysfunctional and powerful Ewing clan. The cast includes Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, Brenda Strong, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Mitch Pileggi, Emma Bell, Kuno Becker, and Juan Pablo Di Pace.
Year-to-year, season three of Dallas was down by 26% in viewership and down by 38% in the 18-49 demographic. It’s one of TNT’s lowest-rated scripted series and that certainly wasn’t a good sign for its chances of a fourth season.
In a statement, TNT said, “We are extremely proud of the series, which defied expectations by standing as a worthy continuation of the Ewing saga. We want to thank everyone involved with the show, from the extraordinary cast to the impeccable production team, led by the show’s creative forces, Cynthia Cidre and Mike Robin. We especially want to thank the people of Dallas for their warm and generous hospitality during the production of the series.”
Cidre and the writers have been working on scripts and ideas for a fourth season of Dallas so hopefully she’ll share what would have happened at some point.

My husband and I loved Dallas.. It is very sad that it has been cancelled. I know alot
of people who loved this show.. It was entertaining and kept you on the edge of your
seat. There is not much worth watching on TV anymore and why they decided to take
this show off, I don’t understand. I hope either TNT changes their minds or another
network picks it up.
I’ve been watching Dallas for years excellent producers Actors The best Drama on TNT please dont remove this very we’ll written series one of a kind!!!
I have watched Dallas growing up and i still have not missed one episode to date. New cast loved them. Pleas some other network please pick it up.. cant live without the ewings !!!!

Yep, CC you got that right TNT Sucks Big Time! TNT and the ABC Mickey Mouse TV Network and NBC and CBS must be trying to destroy every major TV Net in the USA!

I DEFINITELY WOULD SWITCH TO ANOTHER NETWORK WHO WOULD MARKET DALLAS AGGRESSIVELY & NOT GIVE UP. GIVE IT MORE PROMOTION & ANOTHER CHANCE. TOO EARLY IN THE GAME TO END IT! WE ARE WATCHING….
This was a great show. I’ll really miss it. You’re taking away so much history. I would absolutely watch on another channel.
Why can’t you keep a good show on the air instead of pulling it for garbage.It was only a summer show an brought us something to watch. Hope some network picks it up. Their are other people beside 18-49 who watch way more tv than your focus groups!!!

I agree, you can’t cancel Dallas. It was getting so exciting, I looked forward to Monday nights to watch Dallas 🙁
