It’s the end of the line for the Dallas TV show — for the second time. TNT has announced that they’ve cancelled the new Dallas TV show after three seasons.
A continuation of the successful CBS series from the 1970s, 80s and 90s, Dallas follows the machinations of two generations of the dysfunctional and powerful Ewing clan. The cast includes Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Jordana Brewster, Julie Gonzalo, Brenda Strong, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Mitch Pileggi, Emma Bell, Kuno Becker, and Juan Pablo Di Pace.
Year-to-year, season three of Dallas was down by 26% in viewership and down by 38% in the 18-49 demographic. It’s one of TNT’s lowest-rated scripted series and that certainly wasn’t a good sign for its chances of a fourth season.
In a statement, TNT said, “We are extremely proud of the series, which defied expectations by standing as a worthy continuation of the Ewing saga. We want to thank everyone involved with the show, from the extraordinary cast to the impeccable production team, led by the show’s creative forces, Cynthia Cidre and Mike Robin. We especially want to thank the people of Dallas for their warm and generous hospitality during the production of the series.”
Cidre and the writers have been working on scripts and ideas for a fourth season of Dallas so hopefully she’ll share what would have happened at some point.

Can’t believe Dallas has been cancelled. The reason the viewers dropped is what it was competing against at first & then when moved to midnight we all had to record it and watch at a more convenient time!! But… If you have to cancel the series, at least have the decency of finishing it properly and not leaving us with multiple cliffhangers… !!
I am truly upset that “Dallas” is cancelled. I would watch it on any channel.
why did you guys cancel Dallas… 3 seasons and just leave us with no real ending….this sucks…maybe somebody else will continue this series….
I have never been so pissed off in my life! I watched Dallas when I was a kid and to have it back with some of the actors from then was incredible! The story lines are amazing! You should feel ashamed of yourselves!
I looked forward to watching Dallas each week. I am not a big TV watcher, but I am a big Dallas fan; I would like to see this series back on the air with Linda Gray and the rest of the cast. I do not enjoy most, I say most, of what is on TV. I will state that it was very difficult to find out WHEN Dallas was on TV and this may have been part of the issue in why it is gone. I absolutely cannot believe they canceled this TV series ! The show was great and better than I expected being an original Dallas watch her for years ! I think the way the last episode ended on season three really left the audience for wanting more and I hope they either release season four on a DVD or another channel Texas up because it’s devastating the show was gone !

Oh I never missed an episode. I was a big fan of,the original series and was excited to hear of the new series. I,was however disappointed to learn of the cancellation. Hoping to have it return soon.

I have loved and missed Dallas since it ended in the 90’s and was thrilled when it came back. I loved it and thought all the actors and actresses done a very good job in all three seasons. It totally saddened me to know that it’s ending again. I’m a very huge fan of this show. Please don’t let it end please. Thank you
Yes I would definitely miss Dallas my wife and I watched it for years and years and we loved it. I hope they’re bringing it back for the fourth season.

I grew up watching Dallas on Friday nights. I was so happy to find the new series on Netflix, since I don’t have cable TV. The show is great! Please, please bring it back!
watched the original Dallas-, thought the new was great and all the young actors. Really miss the show. Don’t know how TNT could take it off the air. Hope some other TV station picks it up!
