Although Dark Matter did pretty well in its first two seasons, are viewers still interested in the Raza shipmates’ backstories? Syfy seems to think so. In fact, it’s added an after-show — After Dark — for the space opera’s third season. Will Dark Matter be cancelled or renewed for season four? Stay tuned.
A science fiction drama, Dark Matter stars Marc Bendavid, Melissa O’Neil, Anthony Lemke, Alex Mallari Jr, Jodelle Ferland, Roger Cross, and Zoie Palmer. The Syfy TV series follows the crew of a derelict spaceship who awake with no memory of who they are or how they got on board. Still, they must work together to survive a threatening voyage charged with vengeance, betrayal, and plenty of secrets.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

For comparisons: The second season of Dark Matter on Syfy averaged a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 676,000 viewers.

Dark Matteris a good, well written show. I do hope it gets renewed.
I go to the Sci-Fi Channel (its not spelled Syence Fyction) for space shows (Stargate SG1, Farscape, Andromeda, Defiance) and Dark Matter is their best current show (space or not). Storylines and characters are still developing. Definitely want to see Dark Matter renewed.

Dark matter is one of the best shows there is, it’s just not – despite being almost done with the 3ed season- well known yet. Not enough people give it a chance or maybe they started late in the season and don’t understand it so they think they don’t like it.
How many years with FAILING ratings will it take this shown to be known? The ratings keep dropping every season. EVERY SEASON!
Wow, Worthymagic… you really have something against this show. It almost seems personal. Ratings can slip a little from season to season, it happens with most shows. You sound a little bit like Trump over there. Relax… just don’t watch it.
I really enjoy Dark Matter. I find I am kept interested in all the characters and their development. I do hope they make a season 4
Excellent series. I like the use of thought with some fire power that is used to problem solve rather than vise versa.
Dark Matter is definitely the proper successor to Stargate and I wouldn’t have it any other way.This show is the best show on Syfy channel. Future : A group of criminals against aliens who come through the Stargate. Renew.
I would really love to see them make season 4 of dark matter as it’s really hard to come across really good sifi these that’s not marvel or dc based I also think box sets of the seasons so fare would sale well aswell
SYFY you just got to make se4 and if it up to me make a Se 5 and 6 love the series’ there this is a keeper and i;ll bet that if you should let the series;s go viral with other big media companies around the globe the view rating;s would go sky high it’s intense,hase good story line with a good base and keeps building the excitement that keeps you at the tip of your seat and makes you just need to see the next epesode
Syfy must renew this show for its fourth season. I am a fan of this show watching it when I am in the states, also following it when I am not stateside as well. This is one of the best science fiction TV shows I have ever seen. Reminds me of “Firefly.”

Definitely need to see more as the crews personalities have changed from mercenary to guardians of the Blink Drive. These actors have great talent and have shown the world this. On the after Dark show there are people from UK, France, etc. So give us Darkies a chance to view & improve the crews talents and do not cancel this great programme

Episode 311, “The Dwarf Star Conspiracy”. Many of the narrative pieces we put in play in previous seasons begin to pay off – like this reveal of exactly what Alexander Rook was up to when he created Rebecca aka Portia aka TWO.
Episode 312, “My Final Gift To You”. Shocking secrets are revealed. Deception, betrayal, tragedy and a significant death.
Episode 313, “Nowhere To Go”: Former enemies become unexpected allied. Friends become unforeseen enemies. And a shocking turn changes everything, setting up a fan-tastic new chapter in the Dark Matter saga.
This show has just gotten better and better each season ,imo. Love this Killjoys, and Wynona. I also love Blood Drive, and hope that gets another season as well.
