TV show description:
Los Angeles Detective Brett Hopper (Taye Diggs) is having a really bad day.
He’s falsely accused of killing an Assistant District Attorney. When he realizes that he’s been framed, he tries to run but stops when he learns that his loved ones — like girlfriend Rita Shelten (Moon Bloodgood) and sister Jennifer Mathis (Meta Golding) — are also in danger.
The next morning, he awakens to find that he’s reliving the same day all over again — and he keeps reliving it day after day. His only hope of stopping the cycle is to solve the mystery which will prove his innocence.
Other characters include Brett’s partner Andrea Battle (Victoria Pratt), former partner Chad Shelten (Adam Baldwin), and informant Damien Ortiz (Ramon Rodriguez).
Episode 13 — What If It’s Him?
After reliving this one very eventful day, Hopper finally accomplishes what he needs to and breaks the cycle. He wakes up the next morning and it’s a whole new day.
Unfortunately, not all of the questions have been answered, including why and how Hopper was reliving the day. The homeless man that Hopper confronted earlier is seen wearing a suit this time and smiles when he sees our hero pass.
Did not air on ABC but was eventually released online by the network.
One of the best time loop shows. I wish we could have gotten some more answers.
So is this the same concept that is now the series called Russian Doll on Netflix then?
