Though Disney Channel hasn’t made any official announcement, it appears that their family sitcom Dog with a Blog is ending with season three. Members of the cast are feeling pretty emotional about wrapping up filming.
On Tuesday, co-star Beth Littleford tweeted the above photo and wrote, “#DWAB final scene on the final day of shooting #SingleTear (actually #OpenMouthedSobbing).” The tweet has since been deleted.
On Instagram, co-star Genevieve Hannelius posted photos and wrote, “Dog With a Blog season 3 wrap party. They are some of my best friends and working with people you love is so special and wonderful. I feel so grateful. Thank you to our dedicated and supportive DWAB fans- I hope we made you all proud. I’m excited for you all to see the rest of season 3! new episode this Friday!!
On the Twitter account for Mick (who plays the show’s title character) a message reads “WHAT! It’s our last day!!! #DWAB #stan”. On Stan the dog’s Instagram account, this photo was posted and titled simply “Goodbye Dog with a Blog.”
There is a positive side for fans of Dog with a Blog however. All indications are that there are many new episodes on the way and they will be airing well into 2015. Season two had 24 episodes.

Please bring back Dog with a Blog. My kids and I love all the characters. They’re 16, 12, and 6. We were so disappointed when it got canceled. We want to know why they canceled it. Great show. Please bring it back.

Please bring back Dog With a blog. It was really a cute show. I am 60 and love that show. I use to watch Disney all the time, but all the really funny shows are gone I don’t watch Disney anymore.

Our whole family loved this show. There are so few programs on TV that the whole family can enjoy. It is so disappointing to know the series has ended.

My daughter is on the autism spectrum and is considered high functioning, but dog with a blog has really blessed her and 8 other families in our group. Our kids love it and find communication with this show and it feels so normal for some of us parents and this is so huge for us!!

It just makes me sad that they think so little of their viewers that they didn’t even do a series finale like they do with so many other shows. This was a good family show. I miss it.

Im 21 and I used to love Disney until all the good shows got canceled….. i find this and it brought me so much joy again felt like a kid one more time and to find out it has been canceled breaks my heart …. hopefully producers change there minds and bring it back … i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee dogs and this show was awesome
