It was an underwhelming start for the new reality series. It tied with a repeat of The Middle on ABC for second place. If it dips in week two (as most new shows do), it’ll likely drop to third or fourth place. This premiere was less than half of what CBS saw from last summer’s Big Brother return.
Note: These ratings are collected by the Nielsen company and are the final national numbers. These are different from the fast affiliate numbers which are just estimates of the actual ratings and are reported on by most other outlets. The final nationals are typically released within 24 hours of the programming or, in the case of weekends and holidays, a couple days later.
What do you think? Do you like the Dogs in the City TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
I hope you renew this show. I HATE almost all the the reality crap that they
have on tv now. Other than the animal shows, this one, Dog Whisper and of course, Pitbulls and Parolees, and My Cat From Hell, I will hardly watch TV any more. I didn’t even renew my subscription for the TV Guide (after 30 some years) because there’s not much I want to watch. Justin seems to really care about the dogs and their people and sometimes I cry so that means it’s a good show.
I think “Dogs in The City” should be back for a 2nd series, a 3rd series, and a 4th series! I loved this show. Why was it cancelled so early in the season? I have learned more from Justin, in this show than I have ever learned from the “Dog Whisper”. Lets not even talk about how georgeous Justin is, I could go on and on. . . .Justin has a way with people & their dogs. He always solves the problems. I feel close to the families with the problems they have with their dogs. Gosh I wish he… Read more »

Loved dogs in the city
Please bring it back
Please don’t cancel “Dogs in the City”. It is the one show I really look forward to each week. I was so disappointed when I realized it was no longer on. Most kids love animals and it is at a time of night when they are able to watch it.

This program is definately “Tops” on my list. Not only is he amazing at training people to treat dogs right he is certainly easy on the eyes. Everyone I talk to loves the show as I do so PLEASE ,
PLEASE do not cancel the show!
Oh this is a great show. I look forward to watching it every Wednesday evening with the family. Please keep it on! We learn a lot about dog training too!!
I love this show! If you are a dog person you have to watch it. Justin “reminds” us of some things that we aren’t paying attention to and teaches us easy ways to make changes that benefit all. Please keep this show on.
Loved this show! Please keep it on for next season.
Please do not take Dogs in the City off the air. I completely agree with the previous fan. I just told all my volunteers in dog rescue to watch it last week and received dozens of emails from them asking me what happened………..the show wasn’t on. This show is so well done. This trainer, like myself, is so accurate with this directions. He and the dogs on the show give so much of us hope that with some proper training they will not be abused or dumped in kill shelters. My God, in these days of too little happiness, dogs… Read more »

Our family is considering calling Justin to help with a problem our pet has…..so we hope CBS continues Dogs in the City!! Keep up the good wrok Justin!
Of course you should renew it. 4 shows and out? It really is one of the better reality shows. Gratefully it doesn’t feature horrible behavior. It is a reality show with redeeming values.
I just found the show Dogs in the city about a month ago and I love it. I turned on the TV tonight hoping to catch it and it was not on. I hope it returns next fall. I really enjoyed it.
One of the better shows on tv. Definately look forward to more episodes.
Dear CBS–Don’t you dare take off Dogs in the City!!!!!! It’s a great family show and filled
with thoughtful dog tips that work! Justin is sincere, caring and just an all around good guy!
How many people or shows can you sat that about? So you better renew it!!!!!!
I don’t even watch Big Brother, and was horrified to find out it was on instead of Dogs in the
City. Thanks so very much! Give us a bark or a meow at Joy …..the pet angel Joy Parsons Walnut Creek CA
My husband and I look forward to this show, and there aren’t many in which I can say that. I consider this program fun, entertaining and educational. Please don’t take it off the air.
Ditto, my friends! I am trying to teach volunteers across the Country through this wonderful show!
