It’s the end of an era. ITV has released a new promo and photos from the series finale of Downtown Abbey which airs (in the UK) this Sunday, November 8th.

The finale season will premiere for American viewers on PBS on January 3rd.

The promo for the final episode promises plenty of the drama and intrigue that helped catapult the period series to global popularity. For those who want to avoid spoilers, stop here. Otherwise, the preview does suggest a major conflict between the Sisters Crawley will take place.
