When he can’t have Nan’s undivided attention, Martin feels isolated and neglected and, as a result, acts out. Consequently, the two attend obedience school, which gives them a fresh perspective on the importance of their relationship.

What do you think? Do you like the Downward Dog TV show? Should it have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
What a shame….a smart, funny and endearing show about a DOG even asnd ABC couldnt give it a fair chance? Should cancel a few TV executives instead. This show would have grown a real following. Hope Animal Planet picks it up and takes it to the bank!
Terrible that it was Cancelled! WHY????? It was Smart, Hilarious, and Original!
SO disappointed it will not run again!
I absolutely agree! Was SO looking forward to its return.
I loved loved loved this show. Amazed it was cancelled
I love this show. I can’t believe it was cancelled!
Very disappointed it is cancelled. There are so many crude, violent shows on, and the one that was nice and fun is gone. TV is not what it use to be!
Great show! Very disappointed it was cancelled. One of the best new shows ABC had for a while.
I would love to see Downward Dog renewed or picked up by another network,It is such a wonderful show
I just love this show,It Is the best show I have seen in a long time. Please rethink this decision
I loved the show. I was so hoping it would have another season. I loved the angle from a dog’s view and the lessons presented each week. So back to all the stupid sitcoms. I’ll read a dog book instead.
Exactly ANON, could not have said it better. I am so disgusted with the incredibly stupid comedy sitcoms, are we really that stupid!!!! Goodness sake, we finally get a decent one, but, NOOOO, we have to cancel it!! UGH!!
Unbelievable!! One of the best comedies to hit regular TV in such a long time. The dog’s personality is priceless, the acting is above average for a comedy sitcom. I for one am soooooooo dissappointed!
We need to send letters to other networks…maybe Animal Planet
This was one if not the best shows to hit the scene. Funny , with great lessons and messages about life. It needs to be revisited as to why it was cancelled. This show had soul and substance. There is so much more that can be done with it. Such a great cast with a unique quirkiness that resonated with intelligent people in regular everyday situations. Not just another air head sit com. I’m hoping it comes back. A really special show in a crowd of many that are not. How can it miss ?
Loved this show, still feeling like an old friend died. This show had depth and brilliance. Wonderful characters and loved Martin’s insights into life. Hoping and hoping DD finds a new home. Really hate ABC now. Seems only shows that appeal to low IQs make it on tv now. Hello Netflix….
I just love this show it’s original, funny and a clean show. I love to see how Nan and Martin interact with each other.I very seldom watch ABC to many reality shows and other terrible sit-coms.Ihope you guys reconcider, this is one of the best shows I’ve seen in awhile
Loved the show. Very creative. Hope Downward Dog finds a new home
Cancelling this show is a horrible mistake! I only got to see 2 episodes, and they were adorable. Very bright, very funny, very touching. When my friend told me about it, I was skeptical, as I normally don’t like talking dogs or babies, but I was very pleasantly surprised. The voice of the dog is hilarious, the lines are clever, and the people are realistic. Please bring it back for another season!
