There have been many successful projects based on the Land of Oz book series by L. Frank Baum. There’s also been a number of flops. Now, NBC is trying a television series called Emerald City. Will it be another hit or a disappointment? Will the Emerald City TV show be cancelled or renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
A fantasy drama, Emerald City is the tale of a young woman named Dorothy Gale (Adria Arjona). She finds her true strength and identity as she battles to bring a divided world together. An all-powerful ruler called the Wizard (Vincent D’Onofrio) governs over one kingdom. He has outlawed magic and faces a looming disaster brought on by a mythical force — as well as the wrath of a growing cauldron of witches. The rest of the cast includes Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Ana Ularu, Mido Hamada, Gerran Howell, Jordan Loughran, and Joely Richardson.

I like some scenes in the show, most of the characters are great..but in episode 10 I really love to see the next
I’m a 38 year old male and I watch the show on HULU. I might not be the exact demographic they are looking for but I sure hope they give the show a 2nd season. It grew on me and now I really want to see where the story goes.
More please! It’s like a not sexist version of game of thrones. Thank god someone finally realized to to make something like this.

I really enjoy the show, my favorite new show I have seen in the last few years. I hope there are many more seasons to come. I hate all of the reality shows dominating tv. It is getting to the point I will discontinue cable service if they keep cancelling all of the interesting and original shows, there will be nothing left worth my money.
