Another channel bites the dust. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Pivot is shutting down after only three years.
The cable network aired programming aimed toward the young adult audience and included original series like Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s HitRecord on TV and Raising McCain, a talk show hosted by Meghan McCain.
It seems Pivot is shutting down because of low viewership and a recent CEO shift in 2015. The channel will go dark sometime later this year. As of now, it’s unclear where Pivot’s series, like Fortitude, Capital, and Please Like Me, will go. Just last month, the channel picked up season four of the latter series.
What do you think? Do you watch any shows on Pivot? Are you sad the network is shutting down?
