TV show description:
This thriller TV show is based on the Turkish television series titled Suskunlar and revolves around friendship, love, revenge and the moral dilemma of how far one will go in the pursuit of justice.
In the series, five best friends have a dark secret they thought was buried 25 years ago, but they soon discover that they can’t hide their past forever.
Jackson Brooks (David Lyons) is a successful attorney who seems to have it all. He’s engaged to his boss, Marina (Claire van der Boom), and he’s on the fast track to becoming partner at his firm. His world is turned upside down when his long-lost childhood friends unexpectedly reappear after 25 years.
Years ago, Jackson, Gil Harris (Michael Raymond-James), Shawn Cook (Larenz Tate), and Boots (Derek Phillips) always stuck together, like brothers. They spent their boyhood summers in the small town of Dalton, Texas, swimming in the quarry, shooting bottle rockets and doing everything they could to mine the fun out of small-town life.
But their idyllic world turned chaotic one fateful summer afternoon. A well-intentioned and heroic attempt to save their friend Jessie West (Bre Blair) from her alcoholic mother ultimately cost the 13-year-old boys nine months at Quitman Youth Detention Facility. Their lives were changed forever.
Now 25 years later, the nightmare of the worst nine months of their lives has resurfaced. A mystery even deeper than their buried past is uprooted. The brotherhood must now band together to right the wrongs of their shared past. It’s a journey that will push the limits of their loyalty and ignite in them an unquenchable thirst for revenge.
Other characters include Detective Liz Winters (Deidrie Henry), Warden Ray Carroll (Conor O’Farrell) and Terry Bausch (Demetrius Grosse).
Episode #10 — She Sang Hymns Out of Tune
The group pull together for their final chance at vengeance and no one emerges unscathed.
First aired: June 5, 2016.
What do you think? Do you like the Game of Silence TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Hi NBC. Please please re-consider and renew Game Of Silence. One of the best TV Shows in a long while. The story deals with a very distressing topic but very real. And it is written and handled with sensitivity and depth. The acting is superb. The entire production is Emmy Awards worthy. Please let it return. Thanks so much. Too much crummy unreal reality series and not enough real drama.
This was a riveting show. I can’t believe it was canceled. It had a great cast and a great story line. I can only hope another network will pick it up.
So disappointed that Game of Silence was cancelled. I have so many people tuning into this show and they all loved the story line. I just caught episode 10 on on-demand, what a cliffhanger? Horrible reality tv has taken over. This was really a good show.
It must be the money. Stupid reality and game shows must be much cheaper to produce so maybe you are giving us incentive to turn off our TVs. Wow! Commercials not seen, products not purchased. Money does matter.
This can’t be over. The last episode was not even on its regular night. Good thing I recorded it! BRING IT BACK!
This was a really great drama. We don’t watch a lot of tv but this was recorded and we are now binge-watching. Well written and good cast…I wish the networks would give it (and other similar shows) a chance to build ratings with more than one season.
This is one of best shows on TV. Why would you cancel a show and leave us hanging without a proper ending. I have not missed a single episode, and ;looked forward to the following weeks. Please reconsider cancelling the show.
This is one of the best shows on TV. Why would you cancel this and leave us hanging without a proper conclusion. I have not missed an episode, and hope you will reconsider cancelling this wonderful show.

Unbelievable! You need to re-consider this dumb decision….”Game of Silence” was a great show!!!
