TV show description:
This thriller TV show is based on the Turkish television series titled Suskunlar and revolves around friendship, love, revenge and the moral dilemma of how far one will go in the pursuit of justice.
In the series, five best friends have a dark secret they thought was buried 25 years ago, but they soon discover that they can’t hide their past forever.
Jackson Brooks (David Lyons) is a successful attorney who seems to have it all. He’s engaged to his boss, Marina (Claire van der Boom), and he’s on the fast track to becoming partner at his firm. His world is turned upside down when his long-lost childhood friends unexpectedly reappear after 25 years.
Years ago, Jackson, Gil Harris (Michael Raymond-James), Shawn Cook (Larenz Tate), and Boots (Derek Phillips) always stuck together, like brothers. They spent their boyhood summers in the small town of Dalton, Texas, swimming in the quarry, shooting bottle rockets and doing everything they could to mine the fun out of small-town life.
But their idyllic world turned chaotic one fateful summer afternoon. A well-intentioned and heroic attempt to save their friend Jessie West (Bre Blair) from her alcoholic mother ultimately cost the 13-year-old boys nine months at Quitman Youth Detention Facility. Their lives were changed forever.
Now 25 years later, the nightmare of the worst nine months of their lives has resurfaced. A mystery even deeper than their buried past is uprooted. The brotherhood must now band together to right the wrongs of their shared past. It’s a journey that will push the limits of their loyalty and ignite in them an unquenchable thirst for revenge.
Other characters include Detective Liz Winters (Deidrie Henry), Warden Ray Carroll (Conor O’Farrell) and Terry Bausch (Demetrius Grosse).
Episode #10 — She Sang Hymns Out of Tune
The group pull together for their final chance at vengeance and no one emerges unscathed.
First aired: June 5, 2016.
What do you think? Do you like the Game of Silence TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
I got pass the brief period of time the youngsters work together based on the events that took place and their lives and the amount of time that passed. Found myself actually enjoying the show and now it’s cancelled. If I can invest my time why can’t the network put the effort into leaving the show on air or having faith in its view
ers. I am tired of shows being cancelled with it no finale! It turned out to be a good show. Sick of reality TV and the Kardashians!
I love this show it keeps you wondering what is going to happen next please don’t cancel this show I have gotten all my family to watch it and they fell in love with it makes you wonder is this really happening in some. of the facilities that have juvenile incinerated
Once again the network is cancelling an excellent show. I have tried not to invest my time in any of the new shows but this one got me from the first episode. NBC needs to keep “Games of Silence” on the air. There are so many fans out there that feel the same way as I do. It’s no wonder CBS has the best shows – I don’t have cable so therefore I only get the original tv stations and now you are taking away another one that I really love. The cast and the writing is excellent. So NBC… Read more »
Game of Silence is 1 of the 5 top shows of all the networks! There’s a reality show, a CSI show, and comedies (that aren’t worth watching) on every network! Game of Silence is thrilling and thought provoking. Leaving the viewer wondering….Do detention facilities like this exist? Game of Silence is unique and unlike the same crime/forensic shows that the viewer watches week after week. Please consider a second season of “Game of Silence”!
I love this show! It’s time for cable networks to pick up this type of high quality TV. These shows always seem to get cancelled. It’s so disappointing! The major networks can keep their reality TV and multiple CSIs. Hope to see David Lyons and company on A&E, Showtime or HBO.
Please bring this series back.
love this show. bring on season 2. please do not cancel!
My husband and I really like this show. Bring it back.
No! Please do not cancel Game of Silence. I DVR’es it and watched them all after The Voice, and several other NBC series finished for the season. This is a hit! Problem is too many good shows and I cannot watch all at once…just talking NBC shows. RECHECK your ratings!
Love Game of Silence and Heartbeat!!! NBC finally gets some better shows and you take them away!
Bring it back
Bring it back!

I don’t understand why this series is being canceled .My wife and I have enjoy it tremendously and look forward to seeing it every week. It would be a great loss to NBC if this show were canceled
