As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

I THINK FOX SUCKS!!! Gang Related was an awesome show.. Maybe get rid of all the animation domination CRAP and STUPID reality shows to make room for the good stuff

Terrible! Maybe there was too many minorities so it was easy to get rid of!! Terrible, Fox has some terrible shows and Gang Related was great! Maybe they can bring it back seeing that they don’t have any Latino actors on the schedule no more! Very disappointing!

I can’t believe they cancelled this show. I loved this show. I wanted to know what happened when it came back for a second season. A bunch of goody do gooders probably complained because of the violence. Well, just don’t watch but save the show for those of us that liked it. These networks keep the stupid ,idiot shows and cancel the good ones, Too bad .This was a good show.
I really enjoyed this show. My fiance asked me to check when season 2 would be airing, so I googled it only to discover it’s been canceled. I’m very disappointed.
Please just let another network pick up the series. Maybe Fox can sell the rights to FXX or AMC or … I don’t know. 🙁
This was a good show. I was looking forward to it coming back, because they so many possibilities for another season. They deserve a second chance.

I was looking forward to watching the second season. I am very disappointed that Fox is not giving it a second chance. And yes i’m hoping too that AMC picks this show. It was really good!
