As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

The Executives @Fox need a fan to do the scheduling of shows!!! You need too be a fan of great TV to know what’s great and not a guy or woman trying to keep their job…RELAX it’s only TV…
Yeh such a real pity. Reminds me of cancelling The Firm and Jericho, such other great tv shows as well. Really can not believe they canned these shows.

I watched this show from the beginning to the end. Every week I looked forward to the next episode. When they last episode came I was left wanting more and was hopeful to seeing a second season. If this show is cancelled on Fox and brought back by another channel I would definitely watch it. I would make sure my dvr is set for it. As of now it is still set to record it. Please bring it back.
Awesome show! It was exciting and kept me guessing. .twist and turns that were logical! We have crap like the Simpsons for 30 years but they won’t keep this great show alive! That’s just too bad.
This was one of the most exciting shows I’ve ever seen on TV. People didn’t get a chance to watch it. I started out watching on demand and got hooked. If it is bought back on another channel I will certainly watch and tell everyone about it.
This was one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. I am very disappointed that Gang Related is cancelled. I really hope that another station will pick it up

I’m so disappointed that the show is cancelled. This was a great program. I DVR’d so it could be watched later.
I would definitely watch another season on Fox or another channel.

wtf!!! just watched episode 13. why would you not bring it back for season 2. Ever episode was good, no dead moments really. kept you on the edge of your seat. i didnt know about it when it first cqame out but i just watche it this week online and im pissed its canceled. they didnt promote it enough
