As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

Gang related was an amazing tv show comparable to sons of anarchy, blacklist, and the following. The drama was so intense that I couldn’t wait for the next episode.(which is exactly what u want) don’t mess this series up like two and a half men when they got rid of Charlie sheen….this show has so much potential and a great and I mean great story line to make it for a couple seasons
Gang related was a great show. I hope TNT or A&E get smart and pick up this show. Acting is superb! I miss watching a fabulous cop show.
Gang related was a show that I could not wait to see the next episode of, I didn’t watch it on cable I watched on hulu.. I bet we went counted in the stats.
My whole family even the kids looked forward to the next season. It is a shame no season two.I think it would be great season two and more will watch it, and how do they get the number of viewers no one asked me. So how many of us did they forget to ask. They only asked the too good people who are too good to watch it.
I am so disappointed, I really wanted to see the follow up to season one- if the other season has been shot I would watch it on another network- I thought it was a great show.
Please bring back gang related.

I would have absolutely loved to see season 2!
This makes me very upset. I loved this show, I would have watch season 2,3,4,5, and however many they would have made. I really would love to see someone pick up this show.
Not all great tv shows have a fast star, perfect example “friends”. 10 seasons, board games, and much more.

Please renew “Gang Related”. I watched it from the beginning and I always looked forward to the next episode. This was a very good show. Why cancel it and then keep other shows like the ” Simpsons” which is a ridiculous show. If it is not renewed on the Fox network, then I hope and pray that another network picks it up. Then the Fox people will look really dumb, because it will be a hit. Gang Related was a hit.
