As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

I am truly disappointed they cancelled the show. It was very interesting an well written. The drama kept me on the edge of my seat even though the father was killed. He was my favorite character an made the show. I would totally watch a 2nd season.
This was one of the best shows with so many twist. I’d watch this over other cops show for sure.

Bring it back….How can fox expect great ratings when it was not marketed at all…One of my all time favorite series.
Would watch this show with subtitles and I hate subtitles that’s how good this show was!!!!

I njoyd the first season,it was good and especially whn the twist started comng throughout the episodes. They need a second season as strong as the first one
Yes, I thought G. R. Was good entertainment and I would have definitely would have welcomed a couple more seasons.

They need to make another season. I got so into this show and just love it! It was so sad to watch the last episode and see all those loose ends. i hope some other channel will adopt that show.
Very disappointed as I just found out that the show is cancelled. I watched it on HULU and was looking forward to Season 2. I thought the show to be well written with good acting and unexpected plot lines every week. Bring it back
