As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

That was one of the only new shows I followed on Fox…Soo sad! Was really looking forward to the rest of the storyline. I can’t believe the terrible shows that survive, and a show that actually exciting gets the ax:(
Gang Related was an awesome show. Didn’t start watching till third or fourth show, but quickly caught up. The story line was actually more believable than the reality shows on the tube today!!! It may take another season to get more viewers, look a Justified as a prime example!!!! Bring back Gang Related and DONT TOUCH JUSTIFIED FOX!!

Very disappointed to hear this show has been cancelled by Fox. There are no American TV shows that depict the layers of a close knit Latino crime family interacting with the LAPD. In terms of demographics, my husband, 53, originally from Mexico. Me, white, female, 51 originally from Chicago. We LOVED this show. Hopefully a new network will pick it up.
That’s why I don’t like watching new shows, because they may get canceled and I really enjoyed Gang Relate. I found it to be thrilling, but I will not invest my time in watching another Fox new show again, etc..

Bring it back. Best show ever. It had you think what is going to happen nexted after each episode. I’m am so disappointed they left a lot of things unfinished. It was too crazy the last episode. I want more!!!!!!!
I commented before, but I just have to comment again. Gang Related was one of the best shows I’ve seen. There is too many reality shows out there. After the last episode I was really looking forward to the next season to see it. I really was hoping there would be a second season. FOX has made a big mistake by canceling it and I sure would like to where the ratings were coming from, because by reading the comments there a lot of us that watched EVERY WEEK AND LOOKED FORWARD TO THE NEXT WEEK.
