As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

I was disappointed and somewhat frustrated to find out Gang Related was not continuing to a season 2. The show got us hooked in the first season and my husband and I could not wait to see what the next episode had to bring. It was interesting, suspenseful, romantic; it had the addictive plot full of twists and turns. Too bad it was cancelled, we would have enjoyed to continue watching this show. Also, I am a huge fan of cop shows and this one by far was one of my favorites. Thanks for your time!
I’m completely disappointed!! This was the only show me and my boyfriend agreed on watching together! I knew something was wrong when i couldn’t find it again. I don’t even watch Fox but i always tuned in to see Ryan and Daniel.. i wish another station would pick it up, it deserves a second season
I missed the first two episodes but got hooked after watching the third. So sad that it was cancelled. Great actors!

I am watching this tv serie in Italy on Fox Channel (next week will be Ep. 11) and I’m loving it, I’m totally addicted! Great actors and plot plus the action is extremely realistic….my favourite character is def Havier Acosta (when he killed Salazar from Metas in that cafè I was almost having and heart attack!!)
I find it very much disappointing that they canceled Season 2, as usual they invest in stupid shows and not in quality ones.
Bummer. This show was awesome!! I would have watched the next season.
I’m not happy with Fox cancelling the show they should atleast let season 2 come outand explain some stuff that we all want to find out there has to b a way we the viewer can get it back
Totally disappointing, I keep on wondering why it was taking so long for the show to return. despite the lack of ratings, I enjoyed the show and look forward to watching it. to the office please do not be discouraged you all did a fabulous job; you have my attention.
I don’t know who is making these decisions but I am so disappointed that this show is being canceled! Among other showers. This was the best show I have seen in a long time the action was amazing the plot was great, I love this show very very much. I am sick to my stomach that you’re canceling it. Amazing series,you have to get it back!the action is so realistic,and the characters – I can’t stop thinking about them,the next generatioon of drama!

loved the show… but didnt like how the season ended… jus recently watched all 13 episodes this past week didn’t know … there would be no season 2
I believe that they are wrong for canceling season 2 because the show was incredible and amazing. I would only watch TV to watch that show with my dad! You guys need to have the show on another channel, it’s not finished. My dad and I are looking forward on what’s going to happen again.
