As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

Are we freaking serious? WTF? I can’t believe the ratings were that poor! Because if the rating were that poor, they would of pulled it after the first couple of weeks! Air the second season! Please!

Just learned it’s cancelled. Our large family all disappointed. Would have paid to see further seasons.

Just when I thought that the second season was about to begin to find out its not even a second series that just blew all **** outa me…I was really waiting for this to come back on now what I’m supposed to watch got me all into it can’t wait to find out what happens next GRRRRRRRR

bring the show back ,I couldn’t wait to see the next episode every week and you didn’t even give people a chance to watch it . and get into it before you cancelled it
I hardly watch any fox tv shows however this was my fav show that aired last summer. I am shocked that it’s not airing a second season. I was looking forward to the suspenseful ending of season one that will be a even better season 2! I am very disappointed and shocked! Please bring back gang related!!!
I am extremely disappointed that gang related was cancelled. It was one of my favorite shows and I am not impressed.
Foxs need to bring that show back I even got the fellows at work to start watching it now we all were waiting on the second season but looks like that’s not going to happen take some of that other stupid shows off and put that back on. ASAP!!
I am very upset to hear GANG related was not renewed. The cast and story line was very good . I have to say I am not impressed with any of the new shows the station’s are offering this fall. What happened to listening to public demand. 98% of the people asked voted they would watch.
OMG I AM SO PISSED OFF AT FOX FOR CANCELLED THIS SHOW! It was a great show and I seriously am considering NEVER WATCHING FOX AGAIN I am so mad. Awful decision Fox network….pathetic!
