As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

Sad sad sad… I really loved this show. Good plot and good acting.
What a damn let down. I googled it to just to see what was up…..some ”stable” channel needs to let the m ____f_____ saga continue. word up……the show was action packed with many twists n turns.. Murphy’s Law alive and well in Philly, and all over this USA. Peace and Hope…….
I am sorry to hear there won’t be a continuity to this show. It was something finally with a real plot of what that life really is for some people. To know that it did attract different demographics, it is a shame this show was cancelled. If any other network picks it up, I would switch the channel in a heart beat.
It was nice to finally get a chance to watch a show with a real plot. It figures that Fox would cancel a show destine to be a hit. I loved this show so much that I googled “what happened to Gang Related?” Go figure. I hope this series comes back.
I was disappointed that this film was concealed. I am looking forward for season 2.
This was one of the best shows of 2014! I can’t believe that it is cancelled! It was real, raw, and full of action, you never knew what was going to happen next. I agree with the other comments that if it were to be on another network it would be as successful as Scandal! Please reconsider and give us Season 2! I have been waiting for over six months for the continuation. Again, this is a great show!

Really like this show. Thought it left a good amount cliff hangers. Unfortunately, Fox is a horrible network with low ratings in the first place. Please move the show to FX or something. I think it would be a good way to fill the void of SOA.
