As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

I don’t think this series was given a fair chance! It was an amazing series and its a pity it wasn’t marketted to the right people! South Africans love these kind of shows!

That is so wrong to cancel this program. The first season ended with me wondering what is going to happen next and I have been waiting for season 2 to start. Of course I would continue to watch this program if there were 10 seasons. Gang related was a really good program and we do not have to many programs related to the Hispanic culture.
I love the show and watched it faithfully every week without missing a bit of it and and I was looking forward to a season two hoping everything would come to light with the unanswered issues that happened in season 1. I guess it was a little to LATIN and VIOLENT for FOX network. Thanx for nothing. Btw, FOX NETWORK, you guys have always sucked.

I would watch this show on another channel, best show I watched during the some, wishing for a relaunch on another channel with a season 2.
I can’t believe it. I am having anxiety attacks since I found out they have canceled the show. I wasted 13 weeks of my life watching this program and now it’s being taken away. thank God they’re not an adoption agency they probably give you a child and then tell you they want it back that’s Fox for you

seriously!!! like are you guys for real???!! just finished the last episode then went online to check for season two air date then I see its cancelled, what a disappointment . then air it in another channel it deserves a second season!
