As expected, there won’t be a second season for Gang Related. FOX has cancelled the summer cop drama after one season of 13 episodes.
On Gang Related, a police detective (Ramon Rodriguez) is torn between his allegiance to his job and co-workers and the gang and crime family that raised him. The cast also includes Terry O’Quinn, RZA, Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, Inbar Lavi, Cliff Curtis, and Shantel VanSanten.

The series debuted at the end of May to a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 2.94 million viewers.
That was a poor showing right out of the gate and the ratings got even worse as the weeks progressed.
It ended up being one of FOX’s worst-performing summer series. Despite having a small but loyal audience, it was expected that the network would cancel the show.
The final episode, which aired August 14th, left plenty of things unresolved.

It was a great show!!! I’m surprised the ratings weren’t better! I’m so disappointed that its cancelled! Maybe Netflix can pick it up!

Ugh!! I watched the last episode and became addicted. I was looking forward to watching the entire season and anxiously waiting for season two to begin, bummer!!!
I’ve been waiting for “Gang Related” to come back on – now I see it’s been cancelled. Whet IDIOT decided on that. Please bring it back – there aren’t too many good show on TV now a days.
Great show gone to soon , needs to be brought back for another season on Netflix at the very least for season 2!!!

Great realistic show, bring it back we need to at least know if the brother will walk again and the deputy that got stuck with the positive needle. I Mean Damn!

This was an awesome show. I don’t see how it got poor ratings.. We had a group of us get together and watch it every episode. So stupid to cancel after one season. Should have waited to see rated from season 2. POOR JUDGMENT CALL FOX.

Bring it back, there must be a season 2
Wasn’t the greatest show, but kept me entertained during the slow TV summer months. I only started watching it because if had Terry O’Quinn but it hooked me enough that I would have watched Season 2, even if they moved it to a different channel. And FOX has plenty of those.
