Though the Girls TV show has never pulled in big ratings, it has drawn a lot of attention for HBO. Now, the series hasn’t been cancelled but it is coming to an end. Will the numbers for Girls spike in season six or, will they fall lower? Will HBO and Lena Dunham regret not making a seventh season? Stay tuned.
Girls revolves around a group of twenty-somethings who live in Brooklyn and are figuring out how to make their way in the world. The HBO series stars Dunham, Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke, Zosia Mamet, Adam Driver, Alex Karpovsky, Andrew Rannells, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

For comparisons: The fifth season of Girls on HBO averaged a 0.25 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 543,000 viewers.

I just watched all seasons when I came across the series on Prime video. I was hooked immediately just watching the chaos and friendships in their daily lives. I would love to see new episodes!
Sorry the previous post of this message has autocorrect errors. I just completed the last episode of season 6. Episode 8 was a disappointment. It showed that neither Adam or Hannah had grown other than having kids in both their lives. Adam has Jessa for a kid and Hannah is going to have Grover. This series should not end until these woman, girls, kids evolve to include some important milestones and changes. Seems none of the girls have changed. They have all remained the same just deal with different circumstances in each episode. People do change and if they don’t… Read more »
