Last night marked the end of the second season of Graceland on USA. The finale left plenty of story options open for season three and left one main character seemingly dead. How’s the show been doing in the ratings? Will the show get a third season or will it be cancelled?
Graceland revolves around a diverse group of undercover agents from various government law enforcement agencies. They all live together under one roof in “Graceland,” a confiscated beach house in Southern California. The show’s cast includes Daniel Sunjata, Aaron Tveit, Brandon Jay McLaren, Vanessa Ferlito, Manny Montana, and Serinda Swan.

The first season of Graceland averaged 2.24 million viewers and a 0.7 rating in the 18-49 demographic. By USA Network standards, that was a healthy following and the crime drama earned a renewal before the first season finished.
Unfortunately, season two hasn’t performed nearly as well. Year-to-year, Graceland is down by a whopping 44% in viewers and 37% in the demo — averaging 1.25 million and a 0.5 rating.
Ordinarily, this would mean a cancellation for sure but all of USA’s scripted shows are way down — including venerable shows like Royal Pains and Covert Affairs. Plus, new shows Rush and Satisfaction have been struggling.
Based on the ratings, I suspect that USA will cancel Graceland after two seasons. However, theoretically they can’t cancel all of their scripted shows so that may end up working in Graceland’s favor.
But, what do you think? Do you think Graceland should be cancelled or renewed for a third season? Did you stop watching in season two? Why did the ratings fall?
It should only be renewed if Mike is alive and teams up with Briggs to take out Sid and Paige, who are both clearly insane.
Don’t cancel this great show….easily the best show on the network!!!! Bring it back!!!!!
I think they should renew for another season. It’s a good show and USA is a haven for people like me who can’t stand to watch one reality show after another.

Like Graceland, but if you cancel the show, their would not be a good ending. The team should avenge mike’s death and resolve some of the other problems first.
This second season has been better than the first! I liked it season one, but season two has had me on the edge of my seat. USA is our favorite network and we watch all of our favorites, but had no interest in seeing Satisfaction or Rush. They looked nasty, not exciting or funny, which is why we watch USA.

My husband and I love watching Graceland together. It’s riveting and complex with a style that is unique. The characters are interesting and relatable. The only reason I can think of as to why the ratings went down, is that the plot line gets so complex it can be confusing. But I still love the show, especially Paul Briggs’ biceps.

Renew and put it on netflex so other people can get into it. Also are it more then just the summer it’s hard for people to wait so long for shows.
