TV show description:
This sitcom follows a successful restaurateur and die-hard bachelor who must come to terms with the family he never knew he had.
Jimmy Martino (John Stamos) is both handsome and charming. Wooing the guests at his restaurant, he often claims he would give up the single life in a second in order to have a family.
One day, twenty-something Gerald (Josh Peck) turns up at the restaurant and introduces himself as Jimmy’s previously unknown son. He’s accompanied by his young daughter, Edie. Not only is Jimmy a father but he’s also a grandfather.
As his life is turned upside down, Jimmy is kept in check by his work family. Assistant manager Annelise (Kelly Jenrette) is a lesbian so she’s immune to his seductive ways. Ken (Ravi Patel) is a chef who’s idea of making a gluten-free dish taste better is to add more gluten.
A long time ago, Gerald’s mother Sara (Paget Brewster) is the one that got away for Jimmy. She never thought Jimmy could be a family man so she kept her son a secret from him.
Gerald is eager for some fatherly advice on how to win the beautiful Vanessa’s (Christina Milan) heart. So, Jimmy is catching up on lost time and starts bonding with his long lost son — while also learning the joys of Grandfatherhood.
Episode #22 — The Cure
Jimmy and Sara wonder if they should give their relationship another shot, but Sara is hesitant to put herself in a position to get hurt again. Meanwhile, Gerald plans an elaborate proposal for Vanessa.
First aired: May 10, 2016.
What do you think? Do you like the Grandfathered TV show? Do you think it should have been cancelled or renewed for a second season?
I love this show. Please renew for another season!!
Waste of time. Terrible show. Cancel!
Did you even watch it?
stop take about the pats in Tuesday show not call for .like the show till you take cheaters, about my team would like too go face to face with the writers.
Good show. Love all the characters, Edie is adorable…
Agree 100%
Cancel – John Stamos is so arrogant on the show that I had to change channels. Did they write it that way or is art imitating life?
John Stamos is trying to use diversity to make up for a mediocre show. The relationships between the main character are not interesting or believable. I have heard FOX is going make a show about a female baseball player. I am looking forward to something better than this from FOX.
I totally enjoy this show and all its characters. There is great chemistry among the cast and is a pleasure to watch. Please renew!!!
its so funny please renew. There is nothing good on T.V. anymore . This a great show.
Please renew!! Great show
Please renew….good comedy
Cute show. It gets better every week. I don’t see it to long term, but there are not enough comedies out there that are really funny. they all have some hidden message. When I watch a comedy, I just want to laugh…or end up being a drama hidden in a comedy.
Liked the first episode, but in the second episode you put in pervert child lover saget, won’t watch anymore!
Stamos and Saget are two peas in a pod. They are both known for dating VERY young girls, probably explains the close friendship for years. FOX should exercise better discretion and give TV shows to much better role models.
