Airing on Friday nights, Grimm has never done very well in the ratings. However, it has managed to escape being cancelled each year. At the end of season five, the series will have more than enough episodes for a good-sized syndication package. Will this be the year that it’s cancelled or will Grimm be renewed for a sixth season? Stay tuned.
On Grimm, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) continues to fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. The rest of the cast includes Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
4/5 update: NBC has renewed Grimm for a sixth season. Details here.
5/21 update: You can see the latest night’s ratings in context.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
For comparisons: The fourth season of Grimm averaged a 1.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.81 million total viewers.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you still like Grimm TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for sixth season?
I love this show, I think Wu and Monroe really play a great role. 50 yrs old so a little out of the 18-49. I wish they wouldn’t skip so many weeks, hard to gain a following if you keep missing with the schedule!
fully agree., but you forgot BUD. his funny.!!!
Please don’t cancel Grimm! I agree with Michael, ratings will rise with some consistent weekly episodes!
At most my Friday night will be so dead without this show . Everyone in this house loves this show.
well of course the ratings are low, what did you expect when the season spread from 10/15-2/16 and not knowing when the next episode will be showing, try doing the series weekly.what is it with you people
Please, Please, Please Renew Grimm!
Best Show ever!
We all love the show, please renew the next season!
Please continue the show, it is finally revealing the meaning of the keys and they now have books again. It can move in so many directions and at the same time tie up story lines that have been left open. What is happening with the Royals and have they been replaced by Black Claw?
Grimm is cooking. They’re doing what I’ve always wanted them to do, and that is to positively CROWD the story with characters and plotlines. Every episode is like a movie, and the ensemble is tight. Two issues: Hank and Adalind are being wasted right now. Give them more to do. Even Bitsie Tulloch, whose performances didn’t cut it in prior seasons, is outstanding as an emotionless bada$$. Great, great, great. This and Empire are the two shows I bother to turn the sound system on for.
Definitely want Grimm renewed!!!! I absolutely adore the cast of characters and all the plot twists and turns. Would love for the show to go on and on.
I would cry if Grimm was canceled
I really hope that Grimm comes back for at least one more season. The latest episode finally seemed to get back to the overarching theme of the keys. The writers definitely have gone with a slow burn on developing this part of the story. With that said, I’m not the biggest fan of the whole Hadrian’s Wall/Eve storyline–it feels a bit awkward and forced. The CIA meets the fairy-tale world…it’s ok I guess. It almost seems like the writers have turned Black Claw into some kind of geo-political terrorist group. I like spy/espionage type plotlines, and I dig the “Old… Read more »

grimm, is a good show, but this writers are burn out, clueless on witch direction to take the story,!!! i fear for this show in the future. please cancel this writers, so that better future writers can better tell & write the grimm Brothers, it was an ok 5 years, but its time to cancel.!! before the ratings really tank. has for me, ILL keep watching, just to see if nick makes up his mind about anything. ps trubel & eve, work great together,
