Airing on Friday nights, Grimm has never done very well in the ratings. However, it has managed to escape being cancelled each year. At the end of season five, the series will have more than enough episodes for a good-sized syndication package. Will this be the year that it’s cancelled or will Grimm be renewed for a sixth season? Stay tuned.
On Grimm, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) continues to fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. The rest of the cast includes Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
4/5 update: NBC has renewed Grimm for a sixth season. Details here.
5/21 update: You can see the latest night’s ratings in context.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
For comparisons: The fourth season of Grimm averaged a 1.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.81 million total viewers.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you still like Grimm TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for sixth season?
I have no doubt, NBC is trying to kill this show with a horrible schedule!
PLEASE renew. I love the show, even watch the reruns early morning on TNT.
I get up at 4:00am Tues-Sat to view 1 hour of rerun on TNT. . I have seasons 1,2,& 3 on BlueRay watch them repeatedly. 🙂
Oh my gosh, I am so glad that someone else besides me watches the TNT reruns ad well as the new NBC ones. I will cry for days if they cancel this show. They should put it on another night before throwing in the towel. No matter, I will watch no matter what day it’s on. One of the few good TV shows on IMHO.
they just had more ratings because promoted a lot of the episode 100 that was pure **** just like the rest of episodes. the next weeks the ratings will back down.
grimm fans.!! look at season 4 ratings, for last year, and you will see, how horrible the writing has become, and why, NBC should fire some of the writers of the show.!! starting with norberto barba, better writers have just enough time, to fix, and maybe get a season 6.!!?? no matter how much we like GRIMM, the ratings tell the real story.!! slim chance for season 6.!!!?
Norberto doesn’t write the show; he directs it. But I agree, the writing is terrible. Grimm should go.
agree. but a director should have direction of the show, and work with some of this lousy writers.!!! even the actors of the show, complain.!! in 2 interviews, with D.GIUNTELI, AKA NICK, he said he hoped, that nick could be more aggressive, has a grimm.!!! thats why i never blame the actors,!!! & norberto, comes from c,s.i, i dont think he knows much about, suprnatural shows., and every plot has such a slow burn to it, its like your watching a soap opera.!! to me., i say replace the writers and some directors, and grimm might have a slim chance,… Read more »
I love Grimm. Best series ever!!!
Please Renew Grimm! I love this series. I look forward to watching it every week.
Grimm is old and sounding more soap operaish every week. I’m ver tired of this show. It used to be so good. Now not so much.
please renew…..we love this show
you know what else helps this show.?!, people that buy the season DVDs or bluerays.!! not DVRs.!!!
I am 69 yrs old and I love Grimm. I record every episode even the reruns. The ones I have seen before I enjoy, so I watch them again . I am not sure where you get your numbers from but I can’t believe they are accurate.
grimm season 5 blueray pre order, 70.dollars.!! thats why we need better writers.!!!
Please renew Grimm the show is great and cast is awesome
Love the show! Keep it! All the changes with the characters keeps it interesting. Loved the 100th episode.! Can’t wait to see what Captain Renard does with his offer, what Monroe does to Rosalee’s blast from the past, if the hexenbeast within fully returns and what Nick does with “the stick”.
wow.!! your the first to admit that out loud.???
@Kim, I agree with you, well said.
Please renew for season 6 and get a girfriend for Sean Renard!
Being 60 years old I guess I’m not in the 18-49 desired demographic and my vote doesn’t seem to count much. But this female disabled veteran loves Grimm and I hope it continues into another season. Along with Sleepy Hollow and Supernatural these shows provide much needed mindless entertainment.
I’m 62 and I love shows like Grimm and Supergirl and The Flash.
the writers from supernatural, would be great for the show, GRIMM.!!
grimm., episode 100. another firecracker that never went off.!!
I really hope Grimm gets the ax. I lost interest in this show because I got fed up with the number of creative ways throughout the seasons that Adalind came up with to mess with Juliet, Nick, and the others. Now I have to see Nick and Adalind play house? I just can’t shake the feeling that Juliet didn’t deserve all the blame for what happened to her before she was made into Eve. She may have done wrong but it wasn’t without reason.
Well said. It feels like a soap opera now. I hope it’s over and done with too.
