Airing on Friday nights, Grimm has never done very well in the ratings. However, it has managed to escape being cancelled each year. At the end of season five, the series will have more than enough episodes for a good-sized syndication package. Will this be the year that it’s cancelled or will Grimm be renewed for a sixth season? Stay tuned.
On Grimm, Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) continues to fight to keep humanity safe from the supernatural creatures of the world. The rest of the cast includes Russell Hornsby, Silas Weir Mitchell, Reggie Lee, Sasha Roiz, Bree Turner, and Claire Coffee.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
4/5 update: NBC has renewed Grimm for a sixth season. Details here.
5/21 update: You can see the latest night’s ratings in context.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
For comparisons: The fourth season of Grimm averaged a 1.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 4.81 million total viewers.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you still like Grimm TV series? Would you like to see it cancelled or renewed for sixth season?
Please renew Grimm!!!
I hope this doesn’t get cancelled, but it’s the showrunners fault. Fans noticed their slap and paste job with the plot and got sick of it. It can still recover but they would have to do quite a bit- improve the storyline, make Nick act like a human being, fix the soundtrack, get rid of characters that people are sick of, I think this is Adalind and Juliette/Eve but I’m not sure. As for Trubel, she was a very well liked character and they sent her away, wtf?
Please do not cancel Grimm! My father and I love this show. I don’t even leave the house until Grimm is over. Since it was moved to Friday nights.
Hey excuse me but how about thinking about 59 yr old woman who sits home every night. Grimm is one of my favorite show as on NBC and I would really hate it if it gets cancelled. I also love NBC’S new show Lucifer which I hope is renewed for another year . I love shows like this so PLEASE DON’T CANCEL THEM! !
lucifer, is on fox.!!!
I agree, there are many viewers posting above the age percentage. Me and husband mid 50’s, “WE LOVE GRIMM.”
best part of episode 13, was, eve,!! with out EVE AND TRUBEL, ratings are going to tank.!!!
Grimm should come on at 10 pm. I miss the start of many episodes and prefer t watch it new rather than recorded. Plus it completes with Friday night sports every week.
I say KEEP IT….interesting to watch compared to some of the other series to watch on TV…ONE of the better ones Thumbs UP
Please renew Grimm. I love this show and my family and I watch it every Friday. Weekends are bad nights for TV shows. On a Tuesday or Thursday, I’m sure the ratings would be higher. It’s creative and fun and Nick, Monroe and all the others are a big part of my TV family. Please, please, please renew it.
episode 13.!!! grimm, please NBC, have the writers rap it up, by the end of season 5., no season 6 please.!!??
Only an evil hundjäger would threaten to cancel this amazing show. Yes, I watch almost exclusively through online platforms, but many millennials and working individuals don’t commit to cable or can’t commit to set schedules. What we CAN commit to, is Nick Burkhardt. I’ll never let go, Nick! ;-D
We love Grim an certainly hope it’s renewed. It is on Friday which is a challenge because people go out – but we always catch it live or on tape and have not missed an episode.
NBC… If you cancel this show – I swear its the LAST time I ever watch your channel. It’s like you just don’t want some series to succeed. Grimm is a fantastic show. Get your act together. Baboons could run that company better.
Grimm will get the cancellation this time. At last i hope get a good clousure. The channel is not rich to throw so much money away, when there is so news and fresh projects waiting get green light. Grimm is a bored, its ratings are shame, the religious matter that will put yet more and the schelude a nightmare. Cancellation sometimes is not the worst that a show could suffer, but a worthy way of end its story. if in Season 5 they are promoting such…imagine season 6, getting ratins more lowers than 0.9-0.8 , the renewal would be a… Read more »
I don’t now if you subscribe to the nightly or weekly reviews, but many of the shows have terrible ratings, shows that are highly rated show very low numbers. Some days I am totally shocked at the ratings for shows that already have been renewed. People today have switched to other ways to watch programs, hula, direct tv free primetime shows, dvrs.
I believe the wood piece was Spear of Destiny..I REALLY Like the show. WRITERS, “come on and get a fresh prospective”.
episode 100, was not all bad,!! they should have explain a little more about the peace of wood, that heals.!! witch could only come from a cross or a staff, thats a good start for bringing, the show back to a supernatural show.!!!
