Is Grimm getting cut short? Deadline reports season six of the NBC series may be shorter than usual.
The drama stars David Giuntoli as Nick Burkhardt, a criminal profiler tasked with protecting humans from supernatural beings. NBC renewed the show earlier this month.
However, while the network has renewed Grimm, things aren’t looking great for season six. In March, Giuntoli said if the the network gave the series a sixth season, it “could very well be our last season.”
According to Deadline, NBC has only ordered a minimum of 13 episodes for the new season, as opposed to the show’s usual 22. This does not mean the season will necessarily be only 13 episodes long. NBC could always add more later.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Grimm? Do you think season six will be the end?
Grimm really is a great escape from reality. I’m not interested in reality shows which seem to never end. Grimm has humor, horror, people who care deeply for their friends and family.
I love this show! I enjoy this show, because it gets me out of my reality for a while, and lets me be part of the drama. I feel like I am right there with all of the great actors, and when they triumph I do too! Please do not cancel this show, it would totally devastate my Friday night!
I love GRIMM please do not cancel this show.
i have been watching this fantastic show from the beginning and can’t get enough. please do not cancel or shorten this fantastic show and the actors are the best and caNNOT BE REPLACED. THEY MAKE THIS SHOW TICK.
I have not been interested in any TV series at all. But when Grimm came along I was hooked. I don’t watch hardly any TV let along any series episodes. If I miss it the night of I’ll get up as soon as I can to watch the next day. Six seasons seems short. However I respect if the cast members want to move on.If that is what they choose. It seems every season gets better and better. I will truly miss Grimm and the filming (which is in my neighborhood) crews around town. Hopefully the cast and fans will… Read more »
Again a good series gets cut short or cancelled, while they keep the dumb reality shows on the air.who cares who dancing with who or dating naked or who’s left on an island I would rather watch some more entertaining
I age with you Sir!
Sorry typo, I agree !
I love Grimm! Please do not cancel.
I look forward to Friday nights for Grimm. Great stories, great characters. Please do not cancel Grimm.
“Grimm” is one of my favorite shows and I really look forward to each new episode. I NEVER watch any other show labeled “horror,” but this one is not frightening at all because they don’t completely show unpleasant scenes, you just very quickly see something slightly alluding to a gory attack, so the audience is aware but not subjected to unpleasant sights. Please don’t cancel the show; it always has unexpected twists to the well written stories which keeps it interesting.
Why is “Grimm” getting cancel”? I love that show and look forward to seeing it every week. It is one of the best shows on NBC. Please don’t cancel GRIMM.
OH MY GOSH, They can NOT cancel Grimm!!!! It is the one show I can’t wait to see EVERY week. If they do cancel it, I will be cutting my ties with NBC. Just in April, I was reading an article that said Grimm was a sleeper HIT. Now they turn around with this? RIDICULOUS!!!
Noooooo!!!!! love this show. NBC add more episodes……
Great fantasy escape. Series stands alone and must continue please!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE GRIMM! I don’t want the show to be cancelled. A group of us, my friends get together and watch Grimm. I am really really sad, disappointed to see the show cancelled. I even try to find the places that they film the show. The actors should have a Grimm Convention, like the sci-fi conventions. Please reconsider.I wanted to be an Extra actress on the show.
Love,
One of your many fans.
Say it isn’t so! I look forward to this Friday night show all week long and I really enjoy it. I realize that it probably can’t go on forever; but, there are a lot of loose ends that need to be resolved and I can’t imagine that happening in Season Six.
