TV show description:
After purchasing an engagement ring to give his fiance, Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) sees a pretty woman’s face briefly morph into a monster’s. Shortly afterward, he and his partner, Hank Griffin (Russell Hornsby), are called to investigate the violent death of a female college student in the woods. Her limbs seem to have been pulled apart by a superhuman wolf creature. Later, a girl in a red coat disappears.
While at the home of his devoted girlfriend, Juliette Silverton (Bitsie Tulloch), Nick is visited by his Aunt Marie (Kate Burton), a librarian. She pulls him aside but, before she can tell him the reason for her visit, they’re attacked by a monster. Marie is gravely hurt but Nick shoots and kills the monster — who then transforms into a human. The monster’s weapon is decorated with strange writing that spells “Reapers of the Grimms.”
Badly injured, Marie gives Nick a necklace and tells him to guard it with his life. She also tells him that his parent didn’t die in a car accident as he believed — they were murdered. At the hospital, Marie tells Nick that he is one of the last “Grimms,” an elite line of criminal profilers. They are charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world. It turns out that the Grimms’ Fairy Tales are true stories and the monsters in them are real.
Nick later inspects Marie’s trailer and finds hidden weapons, books, and other Grimm equipment. He studies an open book and immediately finds a picture of the girl that he saw outside the jewelry store.
While still investigating his case, Nick sees a man named Eddie Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) transform into a wolf. It turns out that he’s not the killer. Monroe explains that there are many different Grimm creatures and not all of them are villainous. Monroe has been able to quell his true nature and exist peacefully with humans, like many Grimm creatures do. With his help, Nick locates the killer, kills him, and rescues the girl.
As Nick tries to hide the dangers of his new found calling from Juliette, Hank, and his boss, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz), he becomes more entrenched in the ancient rivalries and alliances of the Grimm world. Nick must navigate through the forces of a larger-than-life mythology, facing off with Hexenbiests, Blutbads and all manner of ancient evils.

What do you think? Do you like the Grimm TV show? Do you think it should be ending with season six? Would you have watched a seventh season?

This has been a part of my life , one of if not the best show out there, always something new , always leaves you waiting for next episode, a lot of ends to tie up . great cast, would hate to see it end
Is this the cast that want it to end. I do NOT. If they want it to end so be it. Otherwise, leave it alone.
The cast has made it clear in Facebook posts & interviews that they do NOT want the show to end; lots more stories to tell, and they love living & working in Portland and with each other and the whole creative team.
I love Grimm! It is one of my all time favorite TV shows, and it just brakes my heart to hear that the show is being canceled. Please, don’t cancel it, reconsider! #saveGrimm
Please don’t end this series. We love it. Nothing else like it on TV. Love the characters.
I’m crushed to hear that NBC wants to cancel my favorite show! My family and I look forward to the Friday night airings and will sorely miss this show once it ends. Maybe TBS or another cable channel might consider taking over. I’ll bet viewership is better than they think.
please do not cancel grimm this is a terrible decision love love love the show please rethink this!
Please rethink cancelling Grimm. There are not a lot of shows my family watches as a family… Okay there is 2 and Grimm is our go to show. We watch the reruns during the off season. Love love love this show!
Correction to my post a few minutes ago…
“Wesen” rather than “Vesson” but then spell correct doesn’t much like either spelling and is determined to substitute without my okay. Lol!
Wow! What a terrible decision by NBC!!! This series is an exciting and unique story line with a much needed relief from all the zombie shows and movies. I love the story lines, character chemistry and original special effects of the vogueing Vessions. It’s a shame when writers and producers get it right and hit a home run with a series like Grimm give up because viewership is down a bit. People are busy and there are many things in life to take some viewers away from nightly prime time TV shows. This doesn’t mean that when they get time… Read more »
I really like this show. It is so much better than the usual run of the mill show that is out there. Although the characters were put into none real life situations, they all behaved as any in a real human way.
Loved Grimm. Waiting for season 5 to come out Sept 27th. I could watch Grimm for ever. Even go on Grimm watching binges and watch season 1-4 when it’s bad weather outside. We could watch New episodes of Grimm forever.
I cannot wait for Grimm to return. I love this show and the effects are amazing. I hope they never cancel this show. It’s so much better than just about every “reality show” that is on now and for the last 3 yrs.
Just watched the past five years of grimm and I love it. Can’t wait till it starts again. Sorry to hear it’s only going to have only 13 episodes for 2016/2017
Great show…RENEWAL,RENEWAL,RENEWAL!!!
I would hate to see Grimm canceled. I love this show! I have followed it from the beginning and even got my family interested in it also! Even though we live in different states on the east coast we watch it together and comment on it! Such a great show!
