Deadline reports Brenda Vaccaro and Poorna Jagannathan have joined the first season cast of Lisa Rubin’s Gypsy TV show at Netflix. The psychological drama stars Naomi Watts as therapist Jean Holloway, who develops dangerously inappropriate relationships with her patients.
The Night Of‘s Jagannathan will co-star as Holloway’s colleague, who is described as a “straight-shooter.” There’s no word on Vaccaro’s role, yet. Billy Crudup was previously cast opposite Watts, as Holloway’s husband. Melanie Liburd will play a paralegal. Fifty Shades of Grey filmmaker Sam Taylor-Johnson will direct and executive produce the first two of Gypsy‘s 10 episodes.
