A Hulu period drama, inspired by the lives of real women, Harlots stars Samantha Morton, Jessica Brown Findlay, Lesley Manville, and Eloise Smyth. Liv Tyler joins the second season as Lady Isabella Fitzwilliam. The story unfolds in 18th century Georgian London and centers on the Wells family, led by matriarch Margaret (Samantha Morton), who owns a brothel. In season two, daughter Charlotte (Jessica Brown Findlay) places herself in the home of Margaret’s arch-rival, Lydia Quigley (Lesley Manville), which sharply intensifies their rivalry. Meanwhile, alluring and wealthy socialite Lady Fitz joins the plot against Lydia.

Harlots is a wonderful period piece, which I have enjoyed watching from start to finish. It would be a shame to not renew this show for season 3. Terrific acting, story line and costumes keeps you wanting for more. There is nothing like it on television.

A wonderful series and hope this show can last for more seasons! By the way, although it’s a femal show, wish can add some charming male characters such as lord Fallon to make the plots seems more realistic.

Harlots is a very good show! Very different from anything else on TV. Please don’t cancel it. Maybe promote it more and emphasize that is directed, produced and the cast of the show are WOMEN! The story touches so many women lives in the present. Love it!
