We’ve received a few emails from readers asking if Harry’s Law has been cancelled. After all, the last original episode of the Kathy Bates series aired on January 18th.
The legal drama has certainly been struggling in the ratings and is one of the lowest-rated shows on the network this season. But, while it’s hard to imagine that Harry’s Law will be renewed for a third season, the series hasn’t been cancelled just yet. It does have a lot of viewers, just not in the desired demographic unfortunately.
Harry’s Law is on hiatus and won’t return until March 11th, once the February sweeps period has finished. NBC ordered 22 episodes for the current season so there are 10 installments left to air.
Since it’s likely that the show won’t be back, hopefully the cast and crew won’t leave viewers with a cliffhanger in the last episode.
What do you think? Are you still watching Harry’s Law? Do you miss it when it’s not on?

My husband and I love HARRY’S LAW. The show brings out issues affecting people dealing with REAL life legal situations that DO occur, and then gives logical arguments for both sides. I would think that there are those out there who would not want folks to actually see and think about some of the ACTUAL problems with our legal system that are shown.
The cast is great, there is humor, and certainly food for thought in this MUCH BETTER than the sex and violence that seems to be taking over the airways.
KEEP, KEEP, KEEP HARRY’S LAW ON THE AIR!!!!!!!
I LOVE THIS SHOW! Although I enjoyed the format in the 1st season more. Kathy Bates is wonderful and I look forward to seeing the show each week. Why are the good shows cancelled and the junk sticks around forever. Harry’s Law deserves another chance.
We love Harry’s Law please don’t cancel it. Kathy bates is awesome and I love how it is evolving. Please keep it on the air. Cindy and Allan Milne
Absolutely! Do not cancel this show. This is one of the few shows not on PBS that my husband and I watch every week. It’s wonderful, relevant subject matter always leaves us with something to think about. Love the cast too.
The show was best in season 1, refreshing, unique story lines. Still a fan and wish they would keep it on the air but go back to the original story lines.
We love Harry’s Law. We don’t watch many TV shows, (because there aren’t many worth watching), but this is one we don’t miss. I hope NBC will reconsider and keep it going. It is a refreshing change from all the awful “reality” shows that are rampant now.
I like the series
Dont cancel yet another show that really brings thought provoking current issues to the forefront and in such a subtle and humerous Kelly way. Miss Boston Legal so was thrilled to have the new improved. (from last year) Harry’s Law.
I miss this show except that the stories were getting silly – like making an ape a person!
It’s sure not the acting, it’s the writing, that is killing this show – also moving it around so you never know when it’s going to be on or what time/date. If the writing improves, I don’t know why it can’t be one of the best on TV. I hope “the Good Wife” doesn’t go this route!
I like the show but when they dismissed several of the cast members from season 1,
it lost it’s charm. Harry’a Law to many changes to fast.
its a great show… i am a teen and i love it. i like the way that the cases really get in depth and since my family is originally from ohio we recognize some of the areas. i really hope it does not get cancelled!
I want to see Harry’s Law again! I really hope it gets renewed next year!
I love watching Harry’s Law. It is refreshing to see a legal show in which the star of the show does not always win. The storylines are always interesting and the twists that are taken are not always predictable. The show combines a good mixture of drama and comedy and the acting is excellent.
This is the best show on the air. My husband and I really enjoy this show. NBC clearly does not – why would you put it up against American Idol?? NBC has no clue.
PLEASE do not cancel the only show I hate to miss and that we actually look forward to.
So much like Boston Legal in many ways ….one of the best shows on TV. Poor time slot.
It is a show for thinkers and not for young crowd that wants inane, thoughtless “entertainment”. Let us adults have one show thAt we can appreciate!
