What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the ABC television network, Imaginary Mary stars stars Jenna Elfman, Stephen Schneider, Nicholas Coombe, Matreya Scarrwener, Erica Tremblay, and Rachel Dratch. Marin Page, Jilena Cori, Jason Cermak, Kadence Roach, Marci T. House, and Jamie Schneider, guest star in the first season. This ABC sitcom centers on fiercely independent single career woman Alice (Elfman), who falls head over heels for divorced father of three, Ben (S. Schneider). Meeting his kids is so stressful that the very idea triggers the reappearance of her imaginary childhood friend, Mary (voiced by Dratch).
Season One Ratings

Telly’s Take
Although it premiered with decent numbers, ratings for the Imaginary Mary TV show have been falling fast. I suspect that the series will be cancelled by ABC. I say cancel this show. It’s kinda lame and overacting.
I say keep the cast and the story but cancel the furball. I like the story line but the furry friend is a weird distraction and is foolish.

Give the show a chance! The son is very funny and makes the show fun!
The problem is, is that Amy’s boyfriend and her family aren’t nice people nor are they interesting. While the concept (Calvin and Hobbes as grownups) is a good one, everything else is insipid.
This show is on the fast track to be cancelled.. Jenna Elfman is adorable but her career has tanked since it’s been widely announced that she’s a Scientologist.
this show is definitely not for kids. oh wait, its not for adults either. how many crass words can you say in one episode?
I love MARY please don’t cancel it, give it a full season. I’m a 62 yr old man and not gay.MARY makes me laugh and we all need to laugh. I wish there was a stuff toy of MARY. Good luck MARY, I’m praying for you.
There hasn’t been any comedy with such a unique concept as Imaginary Mary in many, many years. Jenna Elfman is perfect in the role and has such a gift for comedic timing. I certainly hope it lasts a long, long time…it is refreshingly funny.
Possibly it’s a bit soon yet but series seems cute and entertaining thus far…
Oh, I’m quite sure that ABC (Already Been Cancelled!) will keep such nonsense as this show. They only have a penchant for getting rid (quickly) of GREAT shows, ie. “Blood & Oil”.
