TNT has had some mixed success launching new dramas this summer. The Last Ship has been a ratings success while Murder in the First just did okay. How will Legends do? Will it be a hit and be renewed for a second season, or will it be cancelled instead? Stay tuned.
Based on the award-winning book by spy novelist Robert Littell, Legends follows Martin Odum (Sean Bean), an undercover agent who can transform himself into a different person for each case. A mysterious stranger causes him to start questioning his sanity. Others in the cast are Ali Larter, Morris Chestnut, Amber Valletta, Mason Cook, Tina Majorino, Rob Mayes, and Steve Harris.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.
12/4 update: TNT has renewed Legends for a second season of 10 episodes.
Final season averages: 0.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 1.53 million total viewers.

What do you think? Do you like the Legends TV show? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for a second season?
Great show, it got better week after week. Don’t be dumb and cancel this show. Do the smart thing and keep this series going. Great actors and cast.
I love the show legends it definitely makes you think more than most of the shows that are on these days. I haven’t missed one episode, you cant miss you will get lost, it is very interesting and keeps you onthe edge of your seat. Bring it back! Thanks.
Excellent drama series. I was on the edge of my seat at the end. This series has to be renewed!
This show is excellent and must come back !!
Great show. We are looking forward to the next season. It should be renewed.
Great show, it shouldn’t be cancelled. Tight writing and action packed.
I love shows like Legends. Sean Bean is an excellent actor. I can’t sat much for the rest of the actors. Excellent plot line. I think it should be renewed.
The show is fabulous and NEEDS to be renewed. If another great show is cancelled in lieu of trite garbage I will be sorely disappointed. I am always amazed at what the Networks consider valued ratings, when time and time again intelligent, well written, superbly acted series are cancelled only to be replaced with stupid plot lines and mediocre acting. And, Reality TV is such a bore, with the exception of “The Voice.” Please return with Season 2.
We thoroughly enjoyed Legends and hope it will be renewed for a 2nd season. The plot is intricate and captivating and the acting is excellent. We love Sean Bean. Love the series.
I too am in the 60-something age group that should be targeted. I really liked this series, and hope it will be renewed.
this is a great show and i love it
The hit show Legends is a bam good show needs to get renewed !!!!
Great show with impressive plot twists. Should be renewed. I agree with the above review…the over 49 club is ignored but we have the highest buying power of any age group. Be aware of that!
They disregard the over 49 viewers who enjoy smart programming. They should extend they’re their ratings to the group of 49 to 60. These are aging “baby boomers’ who particicularly enjoy smarter programming than they did when they were younger. Many 49-60 year olds and up watch T.V. and are consistantly looking for smart programming rather that drivel like Dance show, game shows and any others that programmers use to try and turn our brains to mush.
Sincerely

I’d love some feedback from you so called “experts” on what 18 to 49 year olds prefer to watch.
Legends is an intelligently scripted TV show full of twists and nuances geared to a mature audience. Unfortunately Television network decisions are skewed by ratings of the 18-49 viewer segment. I truly hope it comes back and gets the proper marketing to attract higher ratings for which it so much deserves. Maybe add a twenty something character to the story plot and run a second season sooner than next summer.
I agree the only ratings the networks care about are the 18-49 key demo and a lot of the show I like are being cancelled because they are not getting the key demo numbers even when they do well in total viewers. However in the case of Legends they are not getting ANY DEMO. Total viewers is low along with the key demo. This show isn’t appealing to anyone. I’m outside the key demo and tried to watch this show and found the characters uninteresting and the story lines not compelling. Gave it more than 1 shot but bottom line… Read more »
I like the show because it makes you think more than others on these days. Last episode was a bit of a stretch, maybe the writers are trying for closure in case it’s not renewed. Hope it is though – very good cast with an interesting story line.
