TV show description:
Set in Big Sky country, this thriller TV show is based on the Walt Longmire Mystery novels by best-selling author Craig Johnson.
Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) is the charismatic, dedicated and unflappable sheriff of Absaroka County, Wyoming. Recently widowed, Longmire is a man who buries his pain behind a brave face and dry wit. He’s known for his manners, strength, and old-fashioned approach. His dedication to the law and his passion for the great West make him a desirable lawman.
Victoria ‘Vic’ Moretti (Katee Sackhoff) is the newest addition to the sheriff’s office. Leaving the homicide division in Philadelphia after five years, Vic is still adjusting to dealing with the locals in her new town. Her playful relationship with Longmire holds a deeper connection that allows her to be his most trusted deputy. Vic is out to prove she isn’t a rookie and to show she is capable and loyal.
Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips) is Walt’s lifelong best friend and a local bar owner. Henry is a handsome and charming Cheyenne who is fiercely protective of his tribe and serves as Walt’s go-between with the reservation. Being a business owner, he is comfortable with progress and modernity while maintaining a connection with his past, unlike his close friend.
Deputy Branch Connally (Bailey Chase) is a go-getter with blind confidence. He has political aspirations that often motivate him more than solving cases. His resentment toward Walt’s outdated approach further inspire him to run for sheriff, especially after feeling that he is picking up his boss’s slack. He wants to bring Absaroka County into the 21st century, and he longs to update the sheriff’s station with the technology that other law enforcement agencies use.
Another deputy, The Ferg (Adam Bartley), is a big guy with the heart of a puppy dog. He is loyal, sweet, well-meaning and eager to please. A gifted fly-fisherman who knows how to hunt and fix things, The Ferg has a long way to go as an investigator. Even though he may not be a perfect fit for the job, he is no coward.
Cady Longmire (Cassidy Freeman) is Walt’s only child and an attorney with dreams of the big city. After the death of her mother, Cady has taken it upon herself to help her father get his life back together. She is keenly aware of his imperfections and is the only one not afraid to point them out. Her straight talk and sense of humor connect this father-daughter duo even though they both tend to drive the other crazy.

What do you think? Are you a fan of the Longmire TV series? Do you think it should have ended or been renewed for a seventh season on Netflix?
BRING IT BACK!!! PLEASE
WHAT WERE YOU THINKING!!!!! A&E cancelling the best show on tv. We anxiously waited for the next episode; left on a cliffhanger. Now no Longmire is like having no air to breathe. Someone needs to wake up and get Longmire back in tv where it belongs.
Love this series, boo hiss to A&E for canceling it. Someone in high places responsible for this is an idiot to put it nicely. I am SO hoping Netflix picks it up.
Everyone out here know that Netflix did indeed pick up Longmire. Should be available next year. Yea.
My friend told me that Longmire had been cancelled, I was shocked. If is one of my most favorite shows on tv. I was also sadden when you cancelled The Glades last year. What is wrong with you people? They were the only 2 shows that I watched on A&E. Sorry you lost me.
I just read that Netflix has picked up Longmire, and will be airing 2nd half of 2015!!! Awesome!
A@e i think you lost your mind.. you need too bring it back . and get rid of the idiot that wants to cancel it wake up it is a great show
Please bring Longmire back. Love the show and characters.
Long live Longmire ! ! !

I want Longmire back!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Should be renewed
A&E
What in the heck is wrong with you.
Bring this show back on
It’s the few shows on TV that is worth watching
Real man show
I keep seeing all these people telling A & E to bring back Longmire, but they will not be bringing it back. It might come back on another network but not on A & E. A & E does not care what we want to watch and have no intention of doing anything we want them to do. They want only to bow and kiss the sponsors #*@. I really do not want to go out and rent Netflix to watch Longmire but I will if I have to
Indeed, media reporting indicates that Netflix and Warner Brothers have agreed to sustain the Longmire series into another season for 2015. This will likely be via Netflix streaming. We applaud this move and look forward to watching and absorbing this superb production, and also trust that more of the younger generation will grow to appreciate the acting, story lines, and thinking content of the Longmire series – through the Netflix medium that has a much broader viewer base than A&E. And clueless A&E is the clear loser here. They had a winner and did not appreciate it at all.
We think it is as well written with talented actors as NCIS or other top 10 programs. I think it could compete on any level. Maybe they need to move it to Saturday Nights at 9 PM CST?
It would be a mistake to cancel such a great program that still teaches Good wins over bad. Not enough programs like this.
Longmire is a Great TV Series, I can’t believe A&E would cancel it. I guess they need few more stupid reality shows.
