On Madam Secretary, Elizabeth McCord (Tèa Leoni) is the shrewd and determined Secretary of State who drives international diplomacy. She battles office politics and circumvents protocol as she negotiates global and domestic issues, both at the White House and at home. The cast also includes Geoffrey Arend, Erich Bergen, Wallis Currie-Wood, Tim Daly, Kathrine Herzer, Željko Ivanek, Patina Miller, Bebe Neuwirth, and Evan Roe.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. I really like the show, but PLEASE STOP Tea Leoni from talking in that fake, breathy voice. I really can’t take it anymore…and I have heard many others say the same.
Please DON’T CANEL THE SHOW…even if there are shows that the time crosses paths with….it doesn’t mean that one cannot record or view, for example on Netflix, which is what i did…..please this really is a good show, there are SOOO many shows that they keep running for multiple seasons, REALLY DUMB CHEESY BAD , no HORRIBLE ACTING SHOWS….THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM….. I watched the whole series through on Netfilx over a few days, and was bummed when it was over…PLEASE DO NOT REPLACE THIS SHOW WITH SOME CHEESY STUPID SITCOM THAT HAS HORRIBLE ACTING!!
It’s a great show and well depicts the realities of our political arena. I hope it continues to season 3!
