Earlier this month, we reported that FOX cancelled Making History after only one season. Recently, creator Julius Sharpe reacted to the news on Twitter.
The sitcom follows three friends from two different centuries, as they try to balance the fun and adventure of time travel with the humdrum responsibilities of their otherwise ordinary lives. The cast includes Adam Pally, Yassir Lester, Leighton Meester, John Gemberling, and Neil Casey.
On Twitter, Sharpe thanked the cast and crew of Making History in addition to making some jokes about the show’s cancellation:

I had never heard of the show. Was looking at the TV series on Vudu and found it. Found a preview to watch and was hooked. Some reviews were not good. Move on and watch it if you get a chance. It has some great humor. If it had a bit of time and maybe a writer or to more for input it could have developed to be even better. It didn’t get a fair shot. Ratings were not there. I liked Making History but I work evenings so I have to stream it to watch it. Meals on rating doesn’t take this into consideration. Great shows get canceled because of this (Firefly).
I just found out that making history was cancelled and I’m so sad. I was waiting for it to come back. I loved this show and have been telling people about it thinking it was coming. What a bummer.

Loved this show. When I found out it was cancelled it was a gut punch, and not like the one that settled the Ice Cream.
I liked the show. But once they got away from colonial America you could see the cracks start to form. The formula didn’t work at a certain point and became repetitive.
Making history has got to get picked up by a different network. Comedy central would be a great network to air it. That show was not only funny but the originality and the great acting should’ve made the show succeed. I would definitely watch another season.
I thought it was a great show.
