What do you think? Are you interested in crime history? Will you watch The Making of the Mob: Chicago?
I hope this series wins an Emmy… This was the best programming I’ve seen on TV in a long while… Very Accurate dipiction of the Chicago Mob…. I watch all episodes and it left me wanting more….. Because of this series, I became interested in the Mob story in Chicago…. Yesterday, My wife and I went for a drive and ended up at Mount Carmel Cemetery where Capone, Nitti, O’Banion and Weiss are buried…….I wish the series could have also touched on Alex Louis Greenberg, who Controlled the Manhattan Brewing Comany after Nitti shot himself… He was gunned down in… Read more »
Awesome Mob shows! Thank you AMC, I was always intrigued by the American Mob and how corrupt everything was. Just wondered how they played the game. Can’t wait and Hoping for another Making of the Mob.
I just wish they advertised this better – – I only got the last episode and that was from surfing. When is the rerun?
First let me say AMC did a fantastic job on the N.Y. mafia. Can’t say the same for Chicago. Don’t understand why significant characters are left out…Mike “The Fixer” Merlo and Vincent ” The Schemer” Drucci are very much part of that history. I also get why significant changes to the facts itself? Such as the O’Banion hit….he was killed during a handshake exchange…. (anyone studying the subject would know that), the attemped hit on Torrio….was on the street road in a car not him walking down the street and the one that really gets me is the Colosimo hit…most… Read more »

THE AL CAPONE SERIES IS AT THE TOP OF HEAP. I WAS ALWAYS INTERESTED IN CAPONE, NOT FOR HIS KILLINGS, BUT TO SEE HOW HE ROSE TO POWER. FIRST PART OF SERIES, SOFAR, IS VERY WELL DONE..
