Though the ratings are low, FXX has decided to renew their Wednesday night series Man Seeking Woman for a second season.
Man Seeking Woman takes a sweet yet surreal look at the current world of dating and follows twenty-something Josh Greenberg (Jay Baruchel) on his unrelenting quest for love. His friends and family are played by Eric Andre, Britt Lower, and Maya Erskine.
This comedy series debuted on January 14th with a 0.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 326,000 viewers. Viewership then dropped more than 40% in week two.
While the numbers have been up and down over the course of the seven episodes that have aired so far, the ratings have remained quite low. Last month, an episode registered a 0.07 demo rating and 98,000 viewers.
Still, FXX has picked up the series for another season of 10 episodes for 2016, likely hoping that the numbers will improve at some point. The first season finale will air on March 18th.
