First, there was MasterChef. Then, there was MasterChef Junior. Now, FOX has announced they will air a new special, MasterChef Celebrity Showdown.
The two-hour event will air on January 18th.
The special, which will pit stars against each other in a series of cooking challenges, will feature supermodels Gigi Hadid and Devon Windsor in addition to Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s Terry Crews and Empire‘s Kaitlin Doubleday and Ta’Rhonda Jones. A few former MasterChef and MasterChef Junior contestants will also join in. The competitors will be playing for their charity of choice.

My guess is they’re not calling it Celebrity MasterChef, to distinguish it from the UK series, Celebrity MasterChef.
