Christian Slater hasn’t found much success on television with his past shows being cancelled due to low ratings. Will Mind Games be a different story? Will ABC finally find a successful show to fill the Tuesdays at 10pm timeslot? Stay tuned!
On Mind Games, a pair of brothers (Slater and Steve Zahn) use psychological manipulation to solve problems and to make people’s dreams come true. The rest of the cast includes Megalyn Echikunwoke, Wynn Everett, Gregory Marcel, Cedric Sanders, and Jaime Ray Newman.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
3/27 update: ABC has pulled this show off the air after five episodes.
3/6 update: Cancel or keep this new ABC series?
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Mind Games TV series? Do you think it should be cancelled or be renewed for a second season?
Mind Games was the most intelligent show aired in a long time.
It gave me some hope that network TV could be a positive value in our society.
I believe the networks have some responsibility to provide insightful shows which
could benefit society, instead of catering to the lowest base instincts of people,
such as celebrity worship.
There have been show in the past which have had poor rating to starting out,
and gone on to become some of the highest rated shows.
A real loss ABC please give Mind Games another chance; Please.
I absolutely loved this show!! I am very disappointed that its cancelled..? it’s honestly better than all these other uneducational, pointless, over dramatic shows on tv nowadays.
