What do you think? Are you a fan of the Mozart in the Jungle TV series? Is it ending at the right time, or too soon? If it were up to you, would Amazon cancel or renew Mozart in the Jungle for season five? Sound off, in the comments.
The series was left unfinished, with only sadness as an ending. This is unfortunate because it was such a magical, musical, and enchanting journey. Hopefully, it will come back and continue the story to a more elevated finish.
very very disappointing. so very many samey shows, this one so unique, and no real ending whatsoever.
Extremely disappointed. It was an excellent show and great acting. I think it was a very poor decision for it to be cancelled.
What a shame, this is a great show. Very entertaining and well acted. We will miss it. A poor decision by the new chief at Amazon.
Another lame decision by Amazon. Prime is a has been.
So disappointed!
It’s unbelievable to me that Mozart in the Jungle has been cancelled, and yet Amazon is streaming such a sophomoric effort as The Back Pages which honestly I cannot decide how poorly written it is for the abysmal acting. Disappointed is not a strong enough word…
This can not happen!!!!! Mozart in the Jungle must go on!!!!! There are so many places the story could go from here. What about the De Sousa kids?! Did you think of them at all???? Whhhyyyyy?!
Please don’t do this Amazon.. we are begging you! We need another season at least! This is one of my absolute favorite shows. Listen to your fans. I wonder if those who made the decision to cancel even watched all four seasons? Such a shame. At least allow another network to pick it up if you won’t.
I’M SO SO SO SO SO SAD TO HEAR THIS. THIS SHOW IS A PERFECT CAOS, ITS SO INTENSE. I HATING AMAZON FOR DOING THIS TO US. JUST BECAUSE THEY WANT MORE MONEY, MORE NUMBERS LIKE NETFLIX. I SO SAD.
WTF!!!!!
I’m so so sad to hear this. I live in London UK. I loved this program and just came to the net to find out when the new series was starting. Definitely needs closure. Was a great program. Will be missed.
Come on, give us closure with a fifth season, along with some wonderful music. The show deserves it, one of a kind.
I never binge watch anything, but I just spent the last week watching nothing but this show! It is so funny, yet touching at same time. The last episode even made me cry along with Haley.
Please bring it back. The quality is there – you just need to market it better.
I thought it was a stuffy music show – so I never watched before last week. Then after that first episode – I couldn’t stop watching.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING BACK THE MUSIC
How crazy to cancel this great show!! I hate it when they leave us up in the air like this!! Makes me want to stop watching TV shows and just go with movies not likely to have sequels! Whoever is in charge of these decisions should be fired.
Fabulous series…characters so beautifully and consistently developed. And, in the final analysis, it was all about the music. To say I will miss the undeveloped story completion (we have three orchestras and four main characters in limbo) is an understatement.
