What’s new at Investigation Discovery? Recently, the network announced five new TV shows will premiere this summer: Murder by Numbers, Gone, Kiss of Death, Guilty Rich, and Grave Mysteries.
Additionally, both American Monster and Bad Blood will return for a second season. A docuseries, American Monster take an in-depth look at the lives of America’s worst criminals. Meanwhile, Bad Blood “follows families driven apart by heinous crimes as they come together for the first time.”

(Silver Spring, Md.) – Investigation Discovery (ID), America’s leading mystery and suspense network, announced today the premiere of five sensational new series and the return of two sophomore series just in time for viewers to enjoy the lazy days of summer. The number one cable network for women, ID’s electrifying mid-summer programming slate kicks off with the premiere of MURDER BY NUMBERS (Wednesday, July 12 at 10/9c), a suspenseful new series that follows police on a wild investigation into one shocking crime with multiple victims. Next on ID’s summer docket is GONE (Monday, July 24 at 9/8c), featuring true stories of individuals who disappear without a trace, leaving their loved ones a trail of secrets they must uncover to discover the missing persons’ whereabouts.
Next up, ID shows how the initial excitement of a new love can end terribly wrong in KISS OF DEATH (Thursday, August 24 at 9/8c), and then takes a voyeuristic peak into the life of the wealthy in GUILTY RICH (Thursday, August 31 at 10/9c). Finally, viewers can take a dive into the unknown in GRAVE MYSTERIES (Tuesday, September 5 at 10/9c), where detectives must sort through not only the mystery behind the killer, but the mystery surrounding the victim.
Accompanying these five heart-stopping series are the return of two of ID’s hit original series for their sophomore seasons: AMERICAN MONSTER and BAD BLOOD. AMERICAN MONSTER takes viewers closer to the crime than ever before with never-before-seen footage of killers hiding in plain sight. BAD BLOOD keeps it in the family with its fast-paced storytelling of relatives who commit the ultimate betrayal.

I do not know if we will watch any of them, we have not seen any of them yet. We do wish you would bring more shows like HOMICIDE HUNTER JOE KENDA, or the one that was a detective in Nashville but is from New York that is the best, or more programs like A & Es The First 48. we do not want to watch other peoples home movies either. We like shows like that where the police & detectives are involved than the people of the people that were murdered. I guess you could say more action instead… Read more »
