ABC has disappointed viewers by cancelling shows like Forever and Resurrection but fans of Nashville are singing a happy tune. The Wednesday night drama has been renewed for a fourth season.
The Nashville TV show continues to follow the lives and careers of country music superstars Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) and Rayna Jaymes (Connie Britton). The rest of the cast includes Clare Bowen, Eric Close, Charles Esten, Sam Palladio, Jonathan Jackson, Chris Carmack, Lennon Stella, Maisy Stella, Will Chase, and Oliver Hudson.
It’s never been a hit show for ABC but they keep renewing Nashville anyway. This season, the ratings held pretty steady and it looked like a fourth season renewal was nearly guaranteed because that would ensure they’d have episodes for a good-sized syndication package (which is a big moneymaker for the studio).

Great music. Interesting characters. Storylines that keeps it fun to watch. Yes, as long as the quality of the show stays up, bring it back for many more seasons. It’s one of the best shows on the air!

I have come across many amazing shows in my life time but this one has been the best by far. The show is captivating and addicti to watch while it procuces some of the best music I’ve ever heard and I would pick a favorite but i love them all soooo much! I would cry if I heard that they were canceling this show so I am very happy that they aren’t!

I normally watch CBS but NASHVILLE is my FAVORITE and that is the only ABC show that I watch. I am so happy and thrilled that it has been picked up for a fourth season. I look forward to Wednesday nights to watch it!

Nashville is a gutsy show with so much talent, not only singers, but actors/actresses, but the show would NOT be worth it’s following if Deacon dies! The relationship between he & Rayna is beautiful and raw! It needs to have life!

I love this show…..I don’t get to see it unless I record it, And that I do. I would miss not getting to see this show on TV and how it’s going to play out.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show! The cast is awesome, the music is amazing and I enjoy each and every episode! I’m so glad it is going to have a 4th season and I hope it continues after that!
After The Big Bang , this is the ONLY network show I watch. I want to see how the plot lines are resolved so the 4th season is a good thing.
Nashville is one of the best series on TV. The music is amazing and the performers are of a quality seldom seen on television these days. There is actually a story line as well as wonderfully written and performed music. Too many good shows get cancelled these days and what is left is trivial crap. Let’s hope Nashville stays around for a few years to come.
