The peacock network gives their view on last nights ratings, particularly for their own shows — The Voice, Go On, The New Normal, and Parenthood.

NBC ranks #1 for the night in adults 18-49 with the #1 show of the night, “The Voice” (4.3), and the #1 drama on ABC, CBS or NBC at 10, “Parenthood.” Versus the same night last year, NBC is up 69% (2.7 vs. 1.6) while ABC, CBS and Fox are down.
* From 8-9:01 p.m. ET, “The Voice” (4.3/12 in 18-49, 11.2 million viewers overall) scored the #1 18-49 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, winning the time period by a 34 percent margin (with a 4.3 rating vs. a 3.2 for CBS’s second-place “NCIS”) and also topping ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” Results Show by 87 percent (4.3 vs. 2.3). “The Voice” is up 115 percent versus NBC’s average in the time period last season in 18-49 rating (4.3 vs. 2.0) and up 84 percent in total viewers (11.223 million vs. 6.116 million).
* “The Voice” grew by 0.7 of a point in 18-49 or 18 percent from half-hour to half-hour (to a 4.6 from a 3.9) and by 12 percent or nearly 1.3 million persons in total viewers (11.8 million vs. 10.6 million).
* From 9:01-9:31 p.m. ET “Go On” (2.4/6 in 18-49, 6.2 million viewers overall) finished within 0.4 of a rating point of #1 in the slot among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 (2.4 vs. 2.8 for CBS’s “NCIS” in the half-hour). With its sixth telecast in this slot, “Go On” out-rated ABC’s season premiere of “Happy Endings” by 33 percent (2.4 vs. 1.8).
* From 9:31-10:01 p.m. ET, “The New Normal” averaged a 1.7/5 in 18-49 and 4.3 million in total viewers and tied ABC’s season premiere of “Don’t Trust the B—- in Apt. 23” in 18-49 (1.7 each).
* From 10:01-11 p.m. ET, “Parenthood” (1.9/5 in 18-49, 4.8 million in total viewers) finished within a tenth of a point of its season-high 18-49 rating despite being preempted for debate coverage last week and facing special “X Factor” competition on Fox from 10-10:30 this week.
* “Parenthood” is the #1 drama on ABC, CBS and NBC in the time period in adults 18-49, topping CBS’s “Vegas” by a 19 percent margin (1.9 vs. 1.6) and ABC’s “Private Practice” by 36 percent (1.9 vs. 1.4). “Parenthood” was also the hour’s #1 drama on ABC, CBS and NBC or tied for #1 in women 25-54, women 18-49 and adults, men and women 18-34. In the 10:30 lead-in to local news, “Parenthood” ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in the key news demos of adults 25-54 (with a 2.3 rating vs. a 2.2 “Vegas”).
* Keep in mind that last season, “Parenthood” originals added an average of 47 percent to these next-day “live plus same day” ratings in 18-49 when Nielsen reported “live plus seven day” results.
